Sunday Book Share #26

I'm participating in Feed My Reader Friday hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A WriterThe Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. These  memes allow book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and different posts and events at their blogs.

Another busy week last week, both here and offline. The next few weeks are crazy busy for me at work so other than blog tours, posting may be erratic. This month I have a couple promised reviews but otherwise my reviews will be of books that I read for the Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge March 2013, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated.

Last week I had a huge picture of my cat in my header and mentioned my frustration at not being able to size it properly. Kimba offered to play around with it and while she was at it, she cleaned up my text and fancied up the font. I like it, and smile every time I look at it.

ETA: After I wrote this up and logged into Twitter, I discovered that Kara at Nocturnal Reviews had gifted me with a header that she made. It's gorgeous and now I'm torn. I want them both. Kimba's has Goof, Kara's has another cat, but they both look good. :D I may have to alternate and swap them around periodically. I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of both ladies. <3 Right now, Kara's is up. So, here is Kimba's:

Sunday Book Share #25

I'm participating in Feed My Reader Friday hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A WriterThe Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. These  memes allow book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and different posts and events at their blogs.

Hello from the snowy northeast area of the US! For the third weekend in a row, Mother Nature has seen fit to dump snow on us. I'm really not feeling the love for Mother Nature right now. At least it's a good excuse to curl up the couch, snuggle with the cat, edit, read and watch TV.

Speaking of the cat, you may have noticed that he's much more prominent now. I played around with the picture I had up there, which was much smaller. Now, instead of being too small, he's too big. Sigh. I'll leave it as is for now and keep fiddling on the laptop until I get it a better size. Although, it was a reasonable size when I previewed it. Grrrr.

Anyway, it was a quiet week on the blog and this week will be also. I'm putting in more hours at school and finishing up some edits for deadline. Deadlines are evil. Just sayin'.

It was a long week at work, I'm really looking forward to having Monday off for President's Day. We still have lots of snow on the ground and are supposed to get more tonight. I'm very ready for spring! At least the days are staying light longer; I don't like all the darkness winter brings.

It was busy on the blog last week, lots of blog tours and other events. This week should be quieter, though I do have some interviews lined up with romance authors Jessica Scott and Rachel Brimble, and maybe a giveaway or two. Be sure to stop back and join the fun!
