If I accept a book for review I will try to review it but it's always possible that the review may not happen for one reason or another. I reserve the right to not publish a review. I reserve the right not to notify person who submitted the request on whether I decide to read their book(s). Sorry, but it's hard enough keeping up with the email.
I'm open to diverse books by diverse authors.
I read mainly mysteries, romances, urban fantasy, the occasional sci fi or women's fiction, toddler and preschool books, and MG and YA books that are some form of speculative fiction or mysteries. I do not review poetry, memoirs, self help, business books, or text books.
*Please note that I do not read or review books about cancer or where cancer is part of the story.*
IMPORTANT: I post reviews ranging from extremely negative to gushing, and everything in between. I will not pull a review or refrain from posting one because it is negative or because you are unhappy with it. I will not bash an author but will criticize the book.
To request a review, send an email with the following information:
Name of the book
Blurb
Genre(s)
Is it part of a series or a stand alone? If it's part of a series, can it be read as a stand alone?If not, are you able and willing to provide the earlier books if needed?
Link to the book - your site, goodreads, Amazon, etc. Only one link is necessary.
Review format available
Desired time range - I'll attempt to meet your request but we cannot promise to read and review it within that time frame.
I have a Kindle and a Kobo, and also listen to audio.

GIVEAWAY POLICY
If you have a suggestion for a giveaway, let me know and I will look into it.
The Rules:
- You must be 18 to enter. If I have reason to believe that you are under 18 and you enter anyway, you will be disqualified.
- You do not need to be a follower for the majority of giveaways; giveaways requiring it will be so labeled. Assume that you don't need to be unless it's stated. I'd love it if you followed me, but that's up to you.
- In general, contests and giveaways are open internationally unless otherwise specified. Prizes awarded are from the blog unless otherwise specified. Books provided by the blog are ordered from Amazon, and will be shipped directly to you by them. Please make sure that the vendor ships to your location before you enter. If provided by myself, they will be sent out within two to four weeks from the winners announcement or email.
- If an author or publisher donates a book or prize, shipping will be contingent upon their requirements and/or limitations.They have the right to change their mind about awarding the prize. I am not responsible if the prize gets lost in the mail.
- If you don't follow the directions for entering, you will be disqualified.
- If you have a won a prize in the last 60 days, you are not eligible to enter a giveway.
- The winner is responsible for any and all taxes, import fees, etc.
- I accept no responsibility for lost or damaged goods.
- The winning entry is selected via Random.org or Rafflecopter
- You have 72 hours to respond to my email/tweet or we will re-draw.
- Information that I collect from you or about you is not shared except as needed to send you your prize or verify your entry. Your information is not sold, ever. Any information provided as a result of following ie GFC info, subscribing via email, etc. is private and not shared without your permission.

Any and all information collected, such as your email address or mailing address, will not be shared or distributed by Bea's Book Nook. I will not contact you directly unless you sign up to receive the blog email or I email you to inform you that won a giveaway or if there is a problem with a giveaway that you entered. I do not save your information nor do I use cookies or any other tracking device. If you choose to click on a link that takes you away from Bea's Book Nook, you may possibly be tracked by cookies or other devices on that site.
However, in some instances, such as giveaways, your mailing address and/or email address will be passed along to the publisher, author, or other prize sponsor, for the distribution of prizes. By providing your email address and/or your name and mailing address you are authorizing Bea's Book Nook to pass your information along to the giveaway sponsor for prize distribution. If I request your name and mailing address and/or your email address as part of a giveaway, you can leave it in the post or use the contact form found on every page, so that your information is not out in public.

FTC DISCLOSURE
Book source disclosure as mandated by The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on December 1, 2009 and revised in March 2013. These rules state that product reviewed on blogs must include a disclosure as to whether they received the review products for free or received monetary payment and the disclosure must be easy to find and near the product being reviewed.
Below is a list of the sources from which we receive books. Regardless of the source, all reviews are the honest opinion of myself or a guest reviewer. I do not accept monetary payment or any other form of payment for any book or other item reviewed.
All reviews are the true and honest opinion of the individual reviewing the book.
1) The method of acquiring the book does not have a bearing on the content of the review.
2) Bea receives free digital galleys from the online galley service, NetGalley.
