So my week off did not go as planned. Instead of helping at Habitat, I came down with a sinus infection and asthma flare. I didn't get around to visiting many posts or blogs last week, my apologies. I hope to do better this week. I spent the past week dozing but not sleeping, thank you, steroids :(, reading, vegging, and watching TV. I'm slowly getting better, actually feeling human again as of Saturday. Goof has kept me company but gives me disgusted looks when my coughing spasms interfere with his sleeping on my lap. Because I do it just to bother him, of course. smh

Looks like you will be busy with some delightful looking books. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear last week didn't go as planned, hope you're feeling better. That's funny about Goof, they put up with us as long as we don't inconvenience them too much! LOL.
ReplyDeleteNice Cat thursday video!
Steroids yuck! Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteAll your books are new to me, hope they are great reads. Have a good week, with lots of sleep hopefully :)

ReplyDeleteChristmas Past looks interesting for me. Will check it out on Goodreads :)
Hope you are feeling a bit better now, Bea! Unfortunately when you work hard, every time you stop you illnesses catch up with you :( Your freebie looks lovely and so as the rest of books, enjoy all, sweetheart! x
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Bea. And are you doing volunteer work for Habitat, is that Habitat for Humanity? That's great! Have a great and healthy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Ugh, sinus infection? I hope you get better soon...that sounds like an absolutely sucky way to spend the week. The Buried looks mildly freaky and totally awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post!
So sorry about your sinus infection and asthma. I have bad sinus also and it really knocks you out.
ReplyDeleteHow dare you cough when Goof is sleeping so peacefully Lol. Animals are so funny, my dog sleeps on my in the most awkward positions and when I get up he looks all mad at me :)
Feel Better Bea!!! Have a great week and Happy Reading!
The buried is new to me but sounds good. Hope you enjoy and have a great upcoming week.

That's rough! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, Bea, and enjoy your reads!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Nora Bonesteel's Christmas Past. It was really lovely. I was worried because the last book I read by McCrumb was the NASCAR book which I didn't care for but it was really great. Glad you're feeling better! I hate being sick and asthma makes any kind of chest cold so much worse. I hope you enjoy the Sarah Morgan series. Great books this week!
ReplyDeleteAwe, I hope you are feeling better. You did get some great book though. :)

Thanks for visiting my Sunday Post.
Sorry to hear about your week, but at least you're feeling human again. And Goof made me laugh. Our beasts do the same thing, like we're here to serve them. Well, maybe the kids are, but I am the pack leader, so...no. LOL
ReplyDeleteLot of great looking books for review. :)
