Sunday Post #73

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, and Library Loot co-hosted by The Captive Reader and Silly Little Mischief that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. All of these memes give book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and posts and events at their blogs.

It never ceases to amaze me how a 4 day work week can feel as long or longer than a regular 5 day week. The frigid bitter weather has not helped but it's made for good reading time on the couch, curled up with Goof and some cocoa. Next month, I'll be reading and reviewing mostly books that I've won or was gifted so reviews will be all over the place. :D Tomorrow, I have a review of The Last Savanna by Mike Bond and I'm giving away a fantastic adventurer's kit of camping and survival items. Stop by and enter!

The Week In Review

News: Arisia 2014

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog: "brave: ultimate target challenge" - no idea; "calm baby, calm mama interview" - it was a review actually, not an interview; "bea bea boo" - LOL, and the still popular "threesome" and "how to catch a cat"

I also bought a cover/stand for my Kindle Fire; it's quite handy and sturdy. The stand works both vertically and horizontally.

  1. Aw, at least Goof is keeping you warm! Oh, I considered that kind of cover for my kindle, but went with something different. I don't really like it though. Maybe I'll try that one instead. Nice haul, Bea!

  13. Cool Kindle stand! Is that the one they call "Origami"? And yay for reviewing books that you've been given or have one - it's nice to take a break from almost-solid review copy reading. (I'm planning to do that in March - read stuff from my TBR pile.) Enjoy your week, and I hope the work week goes better.
