I have a full-time teaching job! I start in 2 weeks and I'll be teaching my preferred age group, young toddlers. :) Saturday night I got together with some friends for pizza and a movie and we celebrated.
My friend Elle made the pic below for me. I've put it up as my profile pic at Twitter and Facebook. I love it!

Thanks
for visiting and happy reading! :)
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI think the Thoreau books looks interesting, and love the Monsterland swag. That cover reminds me of Jurassic Park a bit...
It reminds me a bit of Jurassic Park too; my guess is they did that intentionally.
DeleteOMG..The Martian is so good one audio! Wahoo on the full-time job *throw confetti* Now did you find a car?
ReplyDeleteThe car is a work in progress, lol. I have a plan, just need the cash.
DeleteHooray for the job! Ah, toddlers, what a fun age. I like Matt Damon, but I hate that they put his massive face on the covers of The Martian.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the non-movie version would have been better.
DeleteSuch good news, I'm happy for you, and that pic is great :) I hope you love the Martian as much as I did. And I see you received a nice pair of fangs, you're ready for Halloween ;)
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm ready for Halloween. Too bad they'd scare my toddlers. :D I do love that pic Elle made.
DeleteOh yay! Congrats on the new job, sounds perfect! Well done and good luck.
ReplyDeleteThe graphic is fun!
Thanks Trish!
DeleteOh yay! Congratulations on the job AND teaching an age you want. Great news all around!

Exhausting,but fun. :)
DeleteCongratulations on the job. Toddlers! - better you than me - i would lose my mind in a day.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh, they're demanding but fun and exciting.
DeleteCongrats on getting to teach the age group you want! I don't know how you do it, I don't think I could spend all day with toddlers...lol.
ReplyDeleteMonsterland looks good and I seen it on someone else's blog today as well...I need it. :)

Week in Review
I love toddlers; it makes a difference when you love your age group.
DeleteOh, great news! Congrats, and it's always great to get the age group you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLove that Queen Bea picture, too.
Enjoy your books...I like the look of Deadly Christmas Secrets...a mystery with a Christmas theme seems appropriate now.
As for my Graveyard...those are just cleared out for the duration of the carpet cleaning...but I may not bring everything back inside. I'm liking the "blank" look. LOL
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Thanks Laurel!
DeleteI thought that might be case for your Graveyard pile but I wanted to be sure.
I'm still deciding whether to pick up The Martian or not, hope you enjoy it and your week
ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren!
DeleteCongratulations and three cheers on the new job! I borrowed The Martian from the library - I hope I have time to read it before it has to go back. Otherwise, I'll have to buy it! The movie's screenwriter is the son of my parents' good friends/neighbors, so I'm doubly excited to see it.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh, that's exciting about the screenwriter! I want to see it but I'll wait until it hits Amazon Prime or NetFlix. I'm looking forward to both the book and the movie.
Congrats on the job! That's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI want to see the movie The Martian, but probably not until it's out on DVD.
Hope you have a great week!
Thanks Yvonne, and I'll also wait to see the movie. :)
DeleteHave a great week!
Congrats on the job. It's great that you get to teach the age you want to. I so want to read The Martian, but I'll probably see the movie first.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love

Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
Yeah, with a full-time job, I have a huge incentive now. :D It is pretty awesome seeing how people are doing and how they're getting there.
DeleteI'm holding on to see The Martian as a movie as I haven't read the book. Great news about your job, Bea! :)
