I missed last week as I was away visiting family. This week I'm reading two books so I have a 56 from each one. The first one I'm reading is a paranormal romantic suspense, "Turned" by Virna DePaul. The quote is from 56%  in the ebook.

Ana was as scared as she'd ever been. Considering the path her life had taken, that was saying something.

The second book is an urban fantasy, "Night Owls" by Lauren M. Roy. The quote is from page 56 in the paperback.

More people had trickled in, mostly shell-shocked students who stood in clusters, talking in hushed voices.
