 I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. It's a chance to share the print and digital books we've received and posts and events on the blog.

It was a really quiet week on the blog last week. My asthma exacerbation became full-blown and I spent all Sunday, and most of the week, on the couch. I was out of work until Friday, which made for a very short work week. The timing was lousy since I haven't been at the new job very long but my asthma has never been cooperative. :D But, once I got to the doctor's office and got steroids and antibiotics, I saw a rapid improvement. I decided take some time off and not to worry about visiting other blogs or spending much time on my blog. I slept a lot, and once the drugs kicked in, I blazed through my pile of library books. I hope to do better this week with content and visits.

    Oh that sucks. Glad you're feeling better. Hopefully this one is better and you feel back to normal soon.

    Cute pics, Claude seems rather fond of Opus. :):)

      I'm feeling better though I'm not up to full speed yet. :) Claude was unsure of Opus at first but he warmed up to him.

    I hope you're feeling better now! That's rough, especially with the new job, but I'm glad you stopped and took care of yourself. Hope this week is much better :)

      I had about 8 good months so I shouldn't complain too much. :) Angels Burning looks good; I'm hopeful.

    Remember your health comes first, before anything else. Sometimes we need time for ourselves. I'm glad that you are feeling better now. Excellent stack, like the cat photos.

    I'm so glad you took the time to rest! I've finally admitted that when I'm sick that's what I need to do. A day in bed is generally makes the crud go away about 10 times faster than trying to push through. Opus!! I used to love Bloom County! Have a great week and feel better!

      Yep! Pushing through can be the wrong choice but it takes a lot of guts to give permission to just rest. I hope you're feeling better!
