Sunday Book Share #9

I'm participating in both The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. Each meme allows book bloggers the chance to share books they've received, and different posts and events at their blog.
Just when life was calming down again, Hurricane Sandy came along. I was fortunate, my state and the area of the state I live in were lightly hit. We had minor flooding, and some downed trees and power poles. My heart goes out to everyone in the US and Haiti who were less fortunate.

It was a fairly busy week at the blog -

    1. Dark Waters does look creepy, it was the cover that first got my attention.

Happily, we don't get a lot of hurricanes my way; this time, we just happened to be in it's path.

    1. Thanks, I really was quite lucky.

I'm trying to be better about the freebies since my TBR is absurdly high, and these are ones I really want to read.

  11. I'm glad you came through Sandy relatively unscathed. The damage looks just horrible, I can't even imagine being near it.

Congratulations on winning Dark Water and Lord's Fall! I can barely stand having to wait a few more days for LF. :)

Hope you have a wonderful (safe!) week.
