Sunday Book Share #147

http://www.talksupeblog.com/search/label/Bought%20Borrowed%20and%20Bagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. All of these memes are about sharing the print and digital books received and/or posts and events on the blog.

Another quiet week on the blog. I have some tours coming up but otherwise the blog will continue to be quiet. I'm trying to find a new rhythm as well as catch up on reviews but I'm not going anywhere, just tweaking and shifting things around.

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog:  Even the search terms were quiet, but there were several for the ending to Blake Crouch's The Last Town.

It was a quiet week on the book front too, thank goodness. At the moment, I'm trying to catch up on my pile of library books, some of which are overdue.

Thanks for visiting and happy reading! :)

  2. I'm still figuring out the changes but hopefully it won't be too much longer. I haven't read Anne Frank in years but she was amazing.

  3. I kinda changed things up too, after a while of slow reading I've been plowing through books lately. It can make keepin up on reviews challenging. I'm liking the cozys, I seem to be reading more of those lately.

    Have a nice weekend.

    1. I'm plowing through books, well I was, too but getting the reviews written is a challenge.

      Have a good weekend!

  4. Quiet is good. Unless I have something that needs to post I've been taking Saturdays off with no post to catch up, relax and unwind. I hope your week is a good one. I often think of you when it gets hot and muggy with your asthma.

    1. I'm caught up on kids books right now so I don't have much planned for Saturdays. I'm looking at less posting during the week. This summer has been mild so far as my asthma goes. I hope it continues.

  5. I can relate to the need for a quiet week now and then. I tried to catch up some reviewing last week.

    Have a great week!

  6. I like quiet, Bea! Plus your schedule was insanely busy in the last few years, that having a breather now must feel lovely :-) I've been totally slacking in the last few months, and it's a good feeling when you don't have to stress out about reviews coming out on schedule. Have a great weekend!

  7. I write my reviews as soon as I've finished a book, otherwise, I keep dragging my feet and it never gets done - I still have some books I read months ago but haven't reviewed yet... Maybe this tweaking and shifting means you need to take at least a little break, change your mind with something else, then get back to it with a new eye ? I hope you find your own rhythm, *hugs*

    1. I really should do that but sometimes I like to let it marinate in my head first. But I definitely procrastinate too much. :D

      Thanks!

  8. It seems a lot of us are kind of switching things up a little these days... I haven't done anything specific, apart from adding some more discussion posts (finally!) but I'm also contemplating the way I write my reviews. We shall see what comes of it.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading

    1. Gah, discussion posts are a weakness of mine. I just don't do well with them, but I do enjoy reading other people's. Still, I should probably attempt more of my own.

Thanks Lexxie, have a good week.

  9. I love Anne Frank and meant to grab that one on the audiobooksync program but it looks like I've missed it :(
I'm trying to mix things up too and go back to including more discussion posts and I'll be having less reviews for the summer. I like playing around with my schedule though as it stops it feeling stale. Hope your tweaking goes well!

    1. Ah, that's a bummer. :( Seems like lots of people are doing more discussion posts lately. As I mentioned above to Lexxie, I'm not good at writing discussion posts but maybe I'll try again.

  10. Having a quiet week is good. My next few weeks on my blog are going to be crazy. I need to catch up on loads of books I keep getting distracted. Hopefully you can catch up and tweak the few things you want over the next few weeks. Happy Reading.

  16. I am finally getting back into the swing of things and a quiet time to get some stuff done and tweak is a great idea. I have been trying to get a little bit ahead but not stress out about it.

Have a great week Bea! Happy Reading

PS I just figured out who you are in the COYER Group because I'm an idiot, I don't know why it took me so long lol

  18. It has been a quiet week! I read the Anne Frank Remembers book right after I read the diary and found it really interesting. The risks Miep and the rest of them took is just astounding. I'm trying to get my TBR piles a little more under control as well. Think we'll get it done? Have a great week!

  19. I thought about downloading the Anne Frank Remembered book, and did try to download the other SYNC book, Rose Under Fire, but we were in a hotel and the download speeds were too slow. It was the last day of that SYNC pairing and the first chance I'd had to even try. Oh, well, I'll try to find them at the library!

Quiet time is good; it gives you a break and lets you recharge and rethink. Enjoy your quiet time!

  20. I'm also trying to find new footing. Not there yet, but it'll come to me. And don't worry, Monster Porn Monday will stay. I have one scheduled for 7/5. ;) Good luck with the tweaking. *pause* And that sounds so very naughty. hehehe
