Sunday Book Share #123

http://www.talksupeblog.com/search/label/Bought%20Borrowed%20and%20Bagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. All of these memes are about sharing the print and digital books received and/or posts and events on the blog.

Good lord but it got cold towards the end of the week. Temps in the daytime were only in the teens (Fahrenheit) but with windchill it was only about 3 degrees. At night temps were in the negative numbers before windchill. Brrrrr! It was a quiet but busy week otherwise with teaching, editing, promoting a blog tour, and reading.

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog: Nothing! It was a dull week for search phrases. :(

  1. I'm freezing and I'm not liking it. I'm not prepared for cold weather and we rarely get super cold weather here so when it happens I kind of go to pieces! I loved your review of The Hexed. The Hillerman is on my TBR. I really enjoyed the Tony Hillerman books so I'm curious as to how she compares. Have a great week!

    1. I grew up in cold weather and I still don't like it, brrrrr.

It's been so long since I read one of my Tony Hillerman books that so far I'm not making any comparisons.

      Have a great week :)

  3. We've been cold here too, and got hammered with snow. It can go away now. Hope you warm up there- we're supposed to but it will still be cold.

    1. It seems most of the continental US got hit with the cold. We got about an inch or so of snow and I can deal with that. :)

So far A Thousand Pieces of You is good, more YA than I expected.

  4. Great books! We don't have snow in where I live, so I always complain about the heat haha!

  6. It's cold here, too, and looks like it is going to stay that way for another week! Temps in the 30s are going to feel tropical. I have A Thousand Pieces of You. I don't know when I will get to it, but I have seen many, many stellar reviews for it. Right now I am reading Compulsion and liking it quite a bit.

    1. Isn't that sad when 30s feels tropical? Yuck. Well, it is winter. I've also seen some excellent reviews for A Thousand Pieces of You and so far I'm enjoying it.

      Thanks for visiting!

  7. I do love Ruthie Knox's novels in general, but Roman Holiday was a disappointment for me - maybe that's because it was released as a serial, I hope you'll love the whole story in one novel ! Have a great week ;)

    1. Oh, that's good to know. I love Ruthie's work and I've been looking forward to this one. I'm not a fan of serials though. I did read the first installment but then stopped and waited for the rest. *crosses fingers*

      Have a great week!

  8. I really think when it's this cold we should be allowed not to leave the house until Spring. It was in the negative numbers here also. It's so cold my dog didn't want to go outside, his poor little feet.

You had a very productive week and got some great books!
Have a wonderful week Bea! Happy Reading!!!
