Blurb from goodreads:
In the latest eBook original novel in Ruthie Knox’s scorching-hot Camelot series, a no-strings fling looks an awful lot like falling in love—or flirting with disaster.

Fresh out of a fiasco of a marriage, Katie Clark has retreated to her hometown to start over. The new Katie is sophisticated, cavalier, and hell-bent on kicking butt at her job in her brother’s security firm. But on her first assignment—digging up the truth about the stalker threatening a world-famous singer-songwriter—Katie must endure the silent treatment from a stern but sexy partner who doesn’t want her help . . . or her company.

Sean Owens knows that if he opens his mouth around Katie, she’ll instantly remember him as the geeky kid who sat behind her in high school. Silence is golden, but he can’t keep quiet forever, not with Katie stampeding through their investigation. It’s time for Sean to step up and take control of the case, and his decade-old crush. If he can break through Katie’s newfound independence, they just might find they make a perfect team—on the road, on the job, and in bed.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: How to Misbehave, Along Came Trouble, and About Last Night.

Bea's Thoughts:

I loved the first two books in this series. Knox writes flawed, likable, believable people who grab your attention and she has a wicked sense of humor. She also writes some very hot, sexy scenes. You'd better have lots of ice cubes on hand!

Sunday Book Share #41

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. These  memes allow book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and different posts and events at their blogs.

It's Father's Day here in the US. I'll call my dad later and talk to him. Do you have any plans?

I really need life to slow down soon. I fell asleep on the couch every night last week. Mr. Crankypants was quite the fusspot last week; I swear he's only happy when he's fussing and squawking. It's like Chinese water torture, lol. It didn't help that it was a cool, rainy week. I swear I live for French Toast Fridays when we make French Toast for afternoon snack. Nom nom nom. Because I was so busy with both my jobs and daily life and because I was so tired, I got little reading done. :(  But I did make a facebook page for the blog! If you're on facebook, go give it a like and say hi.

Character Interview with Rylee Adamson & A Giveaway

Welcome to today's stop on Shannon Mayer's tour to promote her Rylee Adamson series. It has a little bit of everything; it's a New Adult Romantic Urban Fantasy Mystery series. Yeppers, that's a mouthful. Maybe we can just call it a NA PNR? No? Okay, can't blame a girl for trying. :D

Spotlight - A Celtic Tapestry

Blurb
The wheel of the year turns, bringing the joy of spring, the warmth of summer, the richness of autumn, and the merriment of winter. But eight Celtic festivals link these seasons together, bringing with them romance, lust, danger, and even magic. From a city under threat from night-time creatures at Ostara, to a selkie caught by the light of the Lughnasadh moon, to a writer caught in the flames of a fiery goddess at Imbolc.

Eight authors have come together to give their own twist on these festivals, weaving each story with a blend of myth, magic, and contemporary telling…to create A Celtic Tapestry.

Giveaway & Read-A-Long of Brown and The End of The Line by J.A. Campbell

Another read-a-long! I do like excerpts, they're fun. You get a peek at the story, see if you like it and want to read the whole thing. For me, there's no question about today's excerpt. It's a J. A. Campbell story and I read those, she's an auto-buy. But for those of you not familiar with her works, she's touring to promote her Brown the ghost-hunting dog books and she wrote a story just for the tour. The excerpt you'll read today is not for sale anywhere; it's only available by following the tour and reading along. Follow every day and read along and you'll have read the whole story.

Goof loves to sit on the windowsill; sometimes he looks out and sometimes he just relaxes. It's as close as he gets to going outside, barring trips to the vet and evacuating when the building fire alarm goes off.
