Blurb from goodreads:

"I've got the Blue Whale Blues, I've got the Blue Whale, BLUE WHALE BLUES"

When Penguin hears Whale singing the blues, he tries to help. But how do you stop a blue whale feeling blue?

A delightful story about a whale with bike trouble and the happy-go-lucky penguin who cheers him up.

Steph and Liam's Thoughts:

I thought this book looked pretty cute when it was offered for review. Before we go further, you might notice that there is only one buying link. This publisher does not sell through Amazon but only through an independent online store.

Liam is 5 and gets excited when packages show up at the house. Daddy opened this package up and Liam immediately sat down to read it. He loved the cover.

The pictures are big and bright, which is something that Liam likes in a book. The words are all pretty simple and he needed no help with any of them. However, he did get a pretty good laugh over Mom trying to sing the blue whale blues song.

Liam really enjoyed this book. He said it was silly and it is pretty silly. We were able to discuss some of the things in the book which is what his teacher has requested. The only thing that we had a hard time with was facial expressions. It's hard to tell when a whale is smiling or frowning but we liked the book. Liam read it once with me and once with Daddy.
