Last week was quiet, not much going on. There's one week left of the current school year at my school then they are closed for a week to prep for the new year. Then, my summer of subbing is done and it's back to working sporadically.

Like I said, a quiet week. :D
Did you add any books to your shelves or e-readers last week? Leave a link to your Sunday Post so I can visit you during the week.
Thanks
for visiting and happy reading! :)
That Frankie Bow mystery looks fun, plus Hawai'i doesn't hurt. :) Have a great weekend, and enjoy what's left of this month- can't believe how fast it is going.
ReplyDeleteI love some of the search terms used to find my blog. Ages ago I had a post about a fat suit and that kept coming up almost daily.
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with the clean search result? :D A quiet week is nice. I wouldn't mind having one soon. I saw Stop at Nothing last week, but wasn't sure about it. Hope you like it, then maybe I'll read it. ;)
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen that author before. I'll keep an eye out for your review.
ReplyDeleteWell that is a very quiet week for you! It's refreshing though sometimes to have quiet weeks as it means we can tackle the backlog a bit.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know how this happened "that's so true clean"!
So you have been subbing for summer school, Bea? Here, there is no summer school, and students who are in trouble simply have to take the whole year over... I know I'll have work for the first two weeks when school starts again on the 24th, but after that, I have no idea... I hope we'll both find something long term - much easier to deal with!
ReplyDeleteStop at Nothing looks good, even if I'm not familiar with the author. I think I'm gonna check it out.
Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.

I have been pretty curious about Kate Serine. Looks like you have had a good week. Love the google search words link back....too funny.
ReplyDeleteI have four cats so I really should do Cat Thursday, I enjoy the pics.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to go check out your excerpt on Forbidden - I saw that on someone else's blog and I'm curious. And I was curious about Kate's book, too, but it's on NetGalley and that's a big NO-NO for me :D I'll have to wait and buy it (tee, hee)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Quiet weeks are nice. Gives you time to play catch up. I saw Kate's book on NG, but not sure it was for me. Great haul.

Sounds like you are going to be able to enjoy the rest of the summer and your own pace. :-)

Quiet weeks are good...how else shall we ever catch up!
ReplyDeleteQuiet weeks are always nice and I have my fingers crossed for you that you get a bunch of subbing jobs during the school year :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week Bea! Happy Reading! ox
I hope your last week goes well! And that you're able to find some good jobs for the fall. I missed a lot of your reviews this week because I was working so much - I need to go check them out!
ReplyDeleteI got Deception in the mail Friday! I meant to email you but it just hasn't been that kind of week. I'm very excited about it. Hopefully your fall work schedule will improve from sporadically to regular. I love quiet weeks and am trying to have more of them. The trying doesn't always equal actually happening but better than nothing! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteooh, I do want to read Frankie Bow books and in particular the Musubi Murder. I am currently on a "setting splurge" where I am choosing my books based on interesting settings. I went on my honeymoon to Hawaii many many moons ago :) to Oahu and Maui, and we just loved it.
ReplyDeleteI love Kate SeRine. Her Transplant Tales were fun with some snark, a good suspense case and fantastic characters. I am exciting to read this new romantic suspense. Enjoy your week off or wait so you have to help prep for school?
ReplyDeleteOh man the summer went by fast. I eyed that Kate book but so far haven't caved on it. lol
ReplyDeleteI hope the last week of school goes well! It's funny to see what search terms leads someone to a blog - haha! Whatever works I guess. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Lauren
Stop at Nothing sounds good, hope you enjoy and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhen does school start again? You're in Boston right? didn't realize the SY ends late up there.
ReplyDeleteThat one book looks pretty good! :)
ReplyDeleteQuiet weeks are good! My kids started school this week so I hope you get to relax during your break. Good luck with new school year and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to get a quiet week once in awhile. Stop At Nothing looks good and a nice cover too :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week and new book, it looks interesting :) also good luck with your last week subbing
ReplyDeleteWell quieter weeks are nice too, enjoy them while you can, Bea! :)
