It's a holiday weekend and the official beginning of summer here in the US. I have no particular plans though I do have friends coming by today. Starting this Tuesday, I'll be putting in a lot of extra hours at the day job so I won't be online as much in June. I still have reviews to write and get up but I'm slowly making progress.

ReplyDeleteThe Sherlock Holmes collection was a great find! And the cats expression on Fillet of Murder makes me laugh :) Hope you enjoy your long weekend and all your new books.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've read any Dick Wolf novels. I'm assuming it's the Dick Wolf of TV Law & Order fame etc?
ReplyDeleteDeb

I liked Spiraled. I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan too. I'll have to see if that anthology is still cheap. Happy reading and have a great week!

Congrats on the Filet of Murder win. That looks like a good one! I'm tempted by that Holmes collection as well. I've heard that episodes of Sherlock are based on different actual Holmes stories and I have this dream of reading the story and then watching the episode. No idea if that will ever happen. Good luck with work this June and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI have both of your Harlequin books. I liked Midnight Thunder but have not read the other one yet.
ReplyDeleteGreat haul this week! The Sherlock Holmes collection looks amazing. Happy reading! :)

Oh, I missed that Sherlock Holmes collection! Fillet of Murder looks cute. Why are cats on covers so appealing? (Probably the same reason cat memes and cat videos are...)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the increased hours at your day job, and I hope you had a wonderful week!
