Another week full of editing, teaching, and doing database work. No Habitat for Humanity this week, no time. I still have Christmas presents to wrap, cards to write, and shopping to do. I need more time before Christmas. I'm flying down to see my parents and all of the sibs and their spouses will be there. I'm looking forward to seeing them but I'm going to be all socialized out by the time I get home. DO you have any holiday plans this month?

I like Tami Hoag so I like the look of Cold Cold Heart, hope you enjoy. And I have so much Christmas stuff to do yet but I'm not panicking, it will get done, it always does!
ReplyDeleteIt does get done, just usually at the last minute where I am concerned. :D
DeleteI had a lot of shopping still to do, but managed to get some of it out of the way today. So I'm in better shape now... I wish I was done but have a few to go yet.
ReplyDeleteI better start downloading some freebies too, for COYER.
I like the sound of The Novel Cure, what a great idea for a book. Have a great week Bea. :)
LOL I think you're missing the point of COYER. It's to read those books that have been sitting on your ereader, unread, not to add more. :D
DeleteI'm doing a giveaway of The Novel Cure on Monday so stop back and enter!
I have a little Christmas shopping to do, but I'm basically covered. What will you do with the cat while you're at your parents ? Have a great week !
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine is taking care of the animals while I'm gone.
DeleteI so need more time as well. We have so many Birthdays leading up to Christmas that I just get burnt out!
ReplyDeleteOy, that does complicate things. Good luck!
DeleteYour new books look amazing, Bea! I hope you'll enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteI am stressing a bit about Christmas right now - I haven't bought a single gift yet, and I know next week will be busy. Hopefully, I'll find a way to make it all happen :)
Have a great week and happy reading.

I'm feeling a bit stressed too. We'll survive, I know we will!
DeleteI am almost done shopping just a few small things to get but Santa has finished his part now its just me and the relatives I need to get for. I host Christmas dinner so this week will be setting up the list and getting everything I need together plus some cookie making, mmmm cookies :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week Bea and the time with your family!
Oh, good luck getting ready for Christmas dinner! Cookies, nom
DeleteI'm done with my shopping except for some last minute impulse stuff I'll grab when I'm out and about and I'm having a quiet Christmas this year. I haven't spent one at home in some time. Last year I was in the hospital and missed it completely! I'm wanting to read Sleeping With The Crawfish. Have a wonderful family Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2014/12/14/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-89-and-the-sunday-post/
Christmas in the hospital? How miserable! I hope you get your quiet Christmas this year.
DeleteI do plan to order the new novella by Chloe Neill, partly because the first chapter of the next book is up and it refers back to it. And, I love the Chicagoland saga. Here's my link: http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/2014/12/easy-like-sunday-morning.html
ReplyDeleteI've never read those books but I've heard they're good, enjoy!
DeleteAwesome stack of books this week. I got to get back into the Midnight Breed series at some point. Great haul of books this week.

Thanks Grace.
DeleteCold Cold Heart looks interesting. Sounds like you have been busy, but going home for a visit sounds nice. We are having a small Christmas here, just our kids and their significant others.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that'll be my Christmas but I have to travel for it.
ReplyDeleteI still have shopping and all the wrapping as well as some baking, but we're not going anywhere, so there's that. :D Have a wonderful week, Bea!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely time with the fambam! I wish my library has Vaughn too!
ReplyDeleteLovely new books! I haven't read Tami Hoag in a long while...I think I need to grab one, and soon. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteIn the Clear was a cute winter read - the sequel is even better imo.
ReplyDeleteI love reading my search phrases. Some of them are mind boggling. I once had - boy stomps on heart. lol

Touch of Midnight seems interesting-- hope that you end up loving it. Have a great Sunday and upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteI'm still shopping but I'm more than half-way done. I haven't done much wrapping yet, though! As for travel plans, I'm at my dad and stepmom's house now, with Robin, and we'll be headed to my mom and stepdad's house for Christmas. My sister lives near them, so it will be a nice family gathering! Have a wonderful week, Bea, and I hope you get everything done!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are busy. I'm busy at work but otherwise it's quiet here, but it's still early and a whole week ahead :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
It sounds like you've been busy, Bea! I hope you have some time before you leave for Christmas to relax a little! I read some of Kitty series by Carrie Vaughn a few years ago and liked them, but somehow forgot about them. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've got some fun travels coming up! A Novel Cure looks really great! I'll have to go find it. I'm curious about the Rochelle Alers as well. Good luck with all you've got to do and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm almost sorted with my christmas shopping. Just the food to buy now, woohoo! We're spending time with the family over the festive season too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Bea!
I'm going to be right there with you on the socialized out! We're spending a week driving around seeing family with a twelve-hour drive on either side of it D: Good thing I really love the boy who will be driving ;-)
ReplyDeleteI managed to get heaps done too... just ran out of time! Enjoy your new reads!
