Blurb from goodreads:

Sent into the human realm to retrieve prodigal princess, Zena Night, Bhyrne Raines is shocked and unprepared for his carnal reaction to the sexy succubus. In service to the succubus queen, the rugged enforcer must stifle the instant passion exploding within him. Fulfilling his royal duty doesn’t allow for quickie dalliances. His biological clock is ticking, and he begins to enter breedspawn, an intense and unstoppable frenzy of mating all fire-demon males must endure. But the more he wants to avoid Zena, the more he’s drawn to her.

Reluctant to give up her carefree life of partying among the mortals when the hot-as-sin Bhyrne comes to fetch her for the queen, Zena uses her succubus wiles to entice him, or at least delay the inevitable trip to the royal court. Once in the demon stronghold, hidden deep within the Catskill mountains, she learns the reason for the summons: she must choose a consort within two days.

Zena needs a mate. Bhyrne needs to mate. With time running out for both of them, they each turn to 1Night Stand. With time running out, can Madame Eve come to the rescue?

CarolKat's Thoughts:

On a rather typical (for her) night at a club, the last thing Zena expected was to be interrupted by a member of the Queens guard.  One very hot, sexy and gorgeous hunk of fire-sex demon, an enforcer charged to bring her home to an audience with the Queen.

Zena knows she’s in trouble but the nature of her infraction has her mind racing, but with thoughts of Bhyrne not the potential punishment.

Bhyrne Raines, coincidentally a cousin to Max, her sister Dagney’s mate allows her a quick stop to say good-bye to her sister.  Max sees his discomfort and has a conversation that results in a call with Madame Eve of 1 Night Stand.

Zena’s punishment is really not anything she could imagine and with a couple of days of reprieve she manages to contact her sisters to discuss her dilemma.

This is part of the conversation and is one of several favorites in this book.

“And Zena?” Max cleared his throat. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed how hot he is….”
“Oh, hells, yeah. I’ve definitely noticed that.”
“Not what I mean. I’m talking about his actual body heat…not his, um, looks. Because of what he’s going through, I set him up with 1Night Stand when you guys visited us. I’ll let Bhyrne tell you why. Madame Eve just texted us. You’ve got a date.”
“With Bhyrne?” Her heart suddenly ran through an Olympics gymnastic floor routine.

I laughed, panted and fanned myself through this book.  I swear even my computer was smoldering with the heat flowing off the pages.

Once again Taryn has delivered a five star 1NightStand tale, one that has me begging for more.
