New Cover! Hunted by D.B. Reynolds

Yes, another cover. Apparently today is the day for them. :) This is for a novella by D.B. Reynolds, an author whose PNR books I enjoy. "Hunted" is part of her Vampires in America series and focuses on Cyn and Raphael. If you haven't read their stories yet, save this one until you do.

I'm not generally fond of reds or oranges but this cover is eerie and evocative, which seems just right to me.

    1. Gasp! Where have you been? I've shared other covers in this series and reviewed several of the books. I think you'd like this series, it's hot!

  2. I like it! I'm like you, I usually like the orange in covers to be just a pop here and there, but the haziness of this and the expression on the guy's face adds a kind of sexiness to it that I like. I haven't tried this series either, it sounds like one I ought to look up. :)

    1. It really does work very well. The books are sexy so the cover is very appropriate.

  3. I'm sorry, sweetie, but I've never been a fan of DB covers. I think what Imajinn is doing to her with its covers is robbing her of her sales. Her books are brilliant, and if only they spent more money on decent covers, more people will buy them without cringing at the cover art. A damn shame. :( This is not a bad cover, but it doesn't convey quality of this lovely series.

    1. I can see that. Colorwise this one is garish. This is a series tha first caught my eye not because of the covers but because the author is an acquaintance of mine.
