Sunday Book Share #27

I'm participating in Feed My Reader Friday hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A WriterThe Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. These  memes allow book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and different posts and events at their blogs.

Mother Nature is PMSing, I swear. More freaking snow. It started Thursday, stopped briefly, then started up again. School closed early on Thursday and was closed on Friday so I got a three day weekend out of it but I am so DONE with winter. Grrrr. Apart from Mother Nature acting up, it was a good week.

The Week In Review

Giveaway:
A signed cover flat of "Memories of Murder" by Lara Nance will be given away at each stop and a $50 Amazon gift card will be awarded to a randomly drawn commenter during the tour.

Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge: I'm off to a poor start. I've read several books but only one that counts - Drop Dead on Recall by Sheila Webster Boneham

Odd phrase that led to the blog: "bea in me sex" Erm, wtf? No, just no.

Kindle Freebies

Now look at how small that freebie is, amazing isn't it? Of course, I did buy some books and accept some reviews. :P Still, it's smaller than most weeks and that's a good thing.

You know the drill, leave a link to your share post and I'll stop by.

  3. Nice assortment of books. I love hearing about the Kindle Daily Deals and have taken advantage of quite a few of them. I am trying not to overwhelm my Kindle with books I will never find time to read. Come see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

    1. Hi Kathy, nice to see you. I'm afraid I am guilty of filling up the kindle with too many books. I may not ever have time to read them all but I have no lack of reading material.

    1. Thanks to my allergies, I can have the windows open for about a week or so before I shut them and turn on the A/C. :( But it will be warm and sunny and no more snow. :)

Kara from Nocturnal Reviews designed the current header and I have another one that Kimba designed. I agree that there are exceptions to Wilde's comments but mostly I agree with it.

  11. There is no way I could live where it snows. Ever. I hope it clears up for you SOON.

What... the Freebie Queen has a small stash this week! :P Hope you enjoy them.

    1. Yes, the Freebie Queen failed in her duty to acquire an absurd quantity of freebies in a week. :D

I get tempted to move where there isn't any snow, I really do.

  12. Very interesting books, Bea! Prophecy Girl sounds promising, and it's a pity I didn't know about Katie Porter's freebie or I would have snagged it as I wanted to try her :;) Enjoy all your sweet reads, and I hope the weather will get warmer where you are. It's colder than it should in England too :(

    1. I've never read Katie Porter but I heard good things about Double Down so I snatched it up.

It's been warmish and sunny the past few days so the snow is melting nicely, yay! I hope England warms up soon, brr.
