Blurb from PR company:

Cunning.  Sex.  Pure nerve.  Only this unholy threesome can raise him to his rightful place as a ruler of Manhattan's kink kingdom.

Bouncing from bed to bed on the Upper East Side, Kingsley Edge is brilliant, beautiful and utterly debauched.  No carnal act or chemical compound can relieve his self-destructive heartache—only Søren, the one person he loves without limit or regret.  A man he can never have, but in whose hands Kingsley is reborn to attain even greater heights of sin.

Kingsley's plan to open the ultimate BDSM club—a dungeon playground for New York's A-list—becomes his obsession.  His expertise in domination can't subdue the one man who wants to stop him.  The enigmatic Reverend Fuller won't rest until King's dream is destroyed, and so the battle lines are set;  it's one man's sacred mission against another's.

Sunday Book Share #116

http://www.talksupeblog.com/search/label/Bought%20Borrowed%20and%20Bagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. All of these memes are about sharing the print and digital books received and/or posts and events on the blog.

Oy, the week started well. On Monday I had my two post surgical check up for the lung surgery I had done two summers ago. My lung capacity showed improvement and I've had fewer asthma exacerbations and they've been milder. The doctor was quite excited and happy. I've been happy with the results and the improvements. Now if only there were a cure for asthma!

Then Tuesday night after I went to bed, my modem died. I've had no internet access at home since then. Eeep. I'm typing this up from the library Saturday afternoon. I expect I'll be here until closing time at 5, catching up on blog stuff, client work, and personal online matters. According to the UPS site, my modem will arrive late Monday afternoon. So, if all goes well when I install the new device, I should be back online some time Monday night. I went to a local coffee shop chain Thursday between jobs to take advantage of their free wi-fi but their internet security declared the blog to be a pornography site and I couldn't access it. :D Ah well, I had access to my email and most other sites that I needed. I've also gotten a LOT of reading done without the net to distract me. :D

EXCERPT from One of Us by Tawni O'Dell

EXCERPT

Today I have an excerpt from a thriller that came out in August. "One of Us" is a murder mystery and a psychological thriller that's heavily character driven.

Tawni O'Dell is the New York Times bestselling author of Fragile Beasts, Sister Mine, Coal Run, and Back Roads, which was an Oprah's Book Club pick and a Book-of-the-Month Club Main Selection. Tawni's screen adaptation of Back Roads is currently in development to be made into a film with Adrian Lyne set to direct. Her work has been translated into 15 languages and been published in over 30 countries.

Tawni was born and raised in the coal-mining region of western Pennsylvania, the territory she writes about with such striking authenticity. Her novels have been lavished with praise by critics, including the New York Times, People Magazine, Chicago Sun-Times, Los Angeles Times, and many more.
