BEA'S BOOK NOOK "I can't imagine a man really enjoying a book and reading it only once." C. S. Lewis “If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” ― Oscar Wilde

Children's Book Week Kid Lit Giveaway Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Children's Book Week Kid Lit Giveaway Hop, hosted by Mother Daughter Book Reviews and Youth Literature Reviews. I'm a toddler and pre-school teacher, an avid reader, a children's advocate, a reviewer, and an editor. I believe in reading, love reading, and think everyone could enjoy it, if they had the right book or reading material.

The Friday 56 #3

This is a fun meme to do hosted by Freda's Voice. If you'd like to join on the fun go to The Friday 56.

Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader.
*Find any sentence that grabs you.
*Post it.
*Link it here.

I've been intermittently reading "Witches of East End" by Melissa de la Cruz. It's the first full novel in her  Beauchamp Family series. It's also been made into a TV series on the cable channel Lifetime so if you're in the US, you can check out the show. Click on the cover to go to it's goodreads page.

Besides, Tyler loved baking, and she was enjoying herself too much to stop. She was finding it was great fun acting like someone's mother without the responsibility. All she had to do was nurture and feed while someone else would do disciplining and the time-outs.

It is fun to indulge a child but have none or little of the work and responsibility. I certainly enjoyed indulging my now-grown niece when she was little.
