Charity Sunday: Frontline Foods - Fueling the Fight Against COVID-19

Charity Sunday is a monthly blog hop founded by author Lisabet Sarai at her blog, Beyond Romance. The idea is to support a charity, or non-profit. For each comment other than mine on this post, over the next 30 days, I will donate $2 per comment (excluding my own) for a total of $30 to a local organization, Frontline Foods.

Well, no matter where in the world you are as you are reading this, you are undoubtedly dealing with the Corona virus in some fashion, whether you are obeying a stay at home order, are an essential worker who can't stay home, or you or a loved one has it. So this month's charity is an organization that was started in response to the Corona virus. Working with local restaurants around the country, and partnered with World Central Kitchen, Frontline Foods raises funds to pay local restaurants to deliver meals to workers on the frontlines of this crisis.

It's hard to argue with that, especially those personnel who are pulling double or triple shifts such as medical personnel, EMTs, police, and firefighters. Now, some areas of the country are harder hit than others and may be in less need of this service. But as a whole, the country could certainly benefit.

And wherever you are, I hope you and yours are healthy and safe. Blessed be!

  5. In case it's every daily post, not one per person, so we get the maximum donation.
