http://caffeinatedbookreviewer.com/category/sunday-post Bought Borrowed & Bagged, Bea's Book Nook, book haul

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Book ReviewerStacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. It's a chance to share the print and digital books we've received and posts and events on the blog.

The last Sunday post of 2015! A few more days until the New Year and typing or writing 2015 when it should be 2016, sigh. It always takes me a week or two to get it right. :D

I had a good Christmas, quiet and low stress. :) I wasn't able to go see my family but enjoyed the holiday anyway. Christmas Eve a friend and I went out for Chinese food and then on Christmas we went and saw Star Wars. It was good!

Monday it's back to work for another four day week, then off for New Year's Day and a three day weekend. :)

Won

Laura K. Curtis, Bea's Book Nook, book haul, giveaway

I won this from author Laura K. Curtis; there's an Amazon gift card, a little notebook, a book nameplate, pencils, the tote bag, and a magnet kit for poetry using phrases from romance books. I'm having lots of fun with that last one, lol.

Gifted

I received almost $100 in Amazon gift cards, plus the one above. :) I purchased one book but I need to hoard some of it too. Still, I'm having fun perusing my wish list to see what I should get. :)

  13. DH and I were on our own for Christmas too. We just relaxed and had a nice day. We made a nice, but small dinner. We should've done Chinese, but didn't think about it. I will have to remember that for next year. My family is in Alaska, so they don't make it here every year. His family is in town for Thanksgiving and then runs to Florida for the winter.

    1. Alaska? So, they usually have a white Christmas? Sometimes, a small quiet celebration is just what we need. The Chinese restaurant was quite busy on Christmas Eve, both for dining in and take out. I may do it again for New Year's Eve.

  14. That Avon package is amazing! Julia Quinn is probably my favorite historical author and Viscount Who Loved Me is one of my favorites. I've been wanting to reread it lately. Your Christmas sounds nice and low key. I love seeing movies on Christmas day. Have fun spending your gift cards and have a great week!

    1. Avon sends some amazing packages! You should apply next time it opens up. I don't often go to movies on Christmas but I had fun. It was full but not crazy busy.

Have a good week and happy New Year!
