Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine where bloggers have the chance to spotlight upcoming releases they're anticipating.
For centuries, the Others and humans have lived side by side in uneasy peace. But when humankind oversteps its bounds, the Others will have to decide how much humanity they’re willing to tolerate—both within themselves and within their community...
Since the Others allied themselves with the cassandra sangue, the fragile yet powerful human blood prophets who were being exploited by their own kind, the delicate dynamic between humans and Others changed. Some, like Simon Wolfgard, wolf shifter and leader of the Lakeside Courtyard, and blood prophet Meg Corbyn, see the new, closer companionship as beneficial—both personally and practically.
But not everyone is convinced. A group of radical humans is seeking to usurp land through a series of violent attacks on the Others. What they don’t realize is that there are older and more dangerous forces than shifters and vampires protecting the land that belongs to the Others—and those forces are willing to do whatever is necessary to protect what is theirs…
What book are you looking forward to?
oh I have heard some fun things about Anne Bishop and I love the cover, very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI love this series. The romance is subtle but it's definitely there.
DeleteI haven't read any books in this series, but I've been ogling the covers and blurbs. Thanks for sharing...enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: “THE PASSENGER”
I think you'd like them despite the fact that they're urban fantasy.
DeleteOh, I have seen this series around and I wanna read it too but I wish the whole series is finished already before I try it out.
ReplyDeleteMY WAITING ON WEDNESDAY

I'll be stalking the publisher, lol.
DeleteOh, yes, this is one of the books I'm really anticipating for 2016.
ReplyDeleteIt's in my top 5 most anticipated books for 2016.
DeleteI have seen these around and they look really interesting but maybe a bit dark for me. But I'm glad you're looking forward to it so much!
ReplyDeleteDark? No. Intense? Yes But I don't think they'd be too much for you. I really think you'd like these. They're complex, layered, intelligent, strong world building, and have humor and romance.
DeleteI'll put them on my "try someday" list, then! Along with Seanan McGuire's October Daye and Incrypted books.
