Steph's Thoughts:

I could not pass up this book when it came across for review. I thought it had a good message and would be perfect for my little guy.

Liam and I sat on his bed and read it together. He was transfixed by the pictures. They are big and bright and managed to peel him away from Netflix (Hard to do sometimes). The font is large, which is something I like in a children’s book. Some of the words were a little complex for my 4 year old but the rhyme and flow kept us going.

As a mom, I loved the message that this book conveys to kids. Being different is OK! We need more books like this for kids. I asked Liam if he liked this book and he nodded his head yes and said “Good book, again please”. Yes, he is a man of few words.

This book will definitely be finding a place on his bookshelf.

  1. Sounds like a winner, especially with your son! And yes, a worthwhile message that adults as well as children need to hear.
