"Someone murdered Hal." She looked at Char. "Who would have wanted to murder Hal? I know he was a son of a ***** sometimes, but he had a family. A business that supported the local economy. Why?"
LOVE the book's cover. It reminds me of that painting of dogs playing poker! Sounds like a fun cozy.

I loved the first book in the series and I have this one to read. It looks really good.
ReplyDeleteHal does sound like the wrong person to kill. The cover really made me laugh, it just reminds me of my cousin who used to force her family dog to have tea parties with her when she was young! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThis is a new one to me, but I am curious about it now. :)
ReplyDeleteHal's murder intrigues me too! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
I think I saw this one before. I really like the animals on the cover but how are you liking the book so far, Bea?

Hal must have been a pain in the neck. Maybe someone decided they had enough of his shenanigans whether he was successful or not.
