Sunday Book Share #40

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. These  memes allow book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and different posts and events at their blogs.

Last week was another busy week, with way too much going on but some of it was fun so that helped. I've had a lot going on personally, professionally, and blog-wise and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. I'm booking the blog for September and October! O_o Time management is not one of my better skills. Still, overall life is good; I just have to keep reminding myself of that. :D

The Week In Review

Giveaways:

Odd and interesting search phrases that led to the blog: "erotica book excerpt", yeah, I've had a few of those :D ; "skillingstead life on the preservation", I'm clueless about this one; "dear diary cat", and "dear cat diary" are related to a Cat Thursday post and of course "how to catch a cat" remains popular.

  2. I'm astounded that you get all those awesome freebies and STILL find time to get books read from the library!!! Every time I bring books home from the library they site on my desk and then end up overdue :(

So many awesome, FUN books you got this week!! And I don't even understand "skillingstead"??? :D

    1. Yeah I have no clue on the "skillingstead" :D

My library books are frequently overdue, after I've renewed them the max number of times. But, they get priority over freebies because I can read those anytime and only have a few weeks to read the library books.

    1. I tend to be a pessimist but I'm trying to focus more on the positive; there's only so much whining that can be tolerated. :D

      Have a good week. :)

  13. I hope things calm down for you a little... I know what you mean about "way too much going on," but at least some of it was enjoyable. And what a great haul! I picked up Moonlit, too. The King Arthur book is new to me; I'm a big King Arthur fan, so I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Oh, and I always like reading the search terms you post!

Thank you for stopping by my Sunday Post earlier. You were the first commenter!

    1. I've had my eye on Moonlit since I did a promo post for it a while back so I was delighted to see it available as a freebie.

I'm trying to scale back for the summer so things should calm down soon. I hope. :D

Heh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys the search terms. They can be fun to read but I wasn't sure if anyone else thought so.

  14. I sure know what you mean about needing better time management. I'm not handling all that well myself.

Anyway, looks like you have great books on your shelf and I, too, love those Kindle freebies!

    Have a great week!
