New Cover! Sabaska's Tale by J.A. Campbell

This is a book that I've been waiting for since it was first announced several years ago. It's had a troubled journey, changing publisher's several times for different reasons but, finally it's here! Well, almost. It will be released in one month, on July 15th. On July 9th, I'll have an excerpt, courtesy of the author. I'll also be reviewing it, though I don't have a definite date yet.

The blurb from Untold Press ~
Young Adult/Teen Fantasy novel

Anna is a horse crazy teen who spends every summer out on her grandmother’s horse ranch in Colorado. When she gets the devastating news that her grandmother was killed in a car accident, she knows she’s the only one in the family who can properly care for and find good homes for the horses. Her parents allow her to spend the summer on the ranch. There Anna will discover a secret her grandmother kept from the entire family, and a legacy that will send her on more adventure than she ever thought possible.

Sabaska is more than a horse, and though Anna thought she was just a regular girl, together they will Travel between worlds in a fight against evil for their very survival.

  1. Hi Bea,

Love the new blog - it suits you - full of energy and, erm, lilac. But lilac is OK because it looks good on you.

The book cover of the book works well - it has a nice ethereal quality that matches the tone of the story. I wondered if it would work as a thumbnail, but when I zoomed out in my browser it looks fine in miniature too.

    1. LOL thanks TJ.

I hadn't tried the cover in thumbnail but that's a good point. There's a lot to consider when designing a cover, isn't there?
