A week off, hallejulah. I slept late, read a lot, did more car searching (so far, I've had 2 cars fall through), attended a teacher training, and went out to lunch with a friend. A quiet week. :) Today, some friends and I are going to an art museum.

for visiting and happy reading! :)
Sounds like a good week! Glad you enjoyed it- car shopping sucks. Good luck with the search...
ReplyDeleteNeurotribes looks very interesting, I do agree that so much has changed so quickly, in terms of knowledge, and it's nice to see the issue of increaed diagnosis get adressed, since you hear that constantly.
Thanks. I need all the positive vibes I can get for car shopping.
DeleteThe NeuroTribes book was interesting and when you read how the definition and diagnosis have changed, it becomes clear why we've seen an increase.
Thanks for all the giveaway info, Bea. I don't think I've entered anything this week.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
DeleteSleeping in late is divine. I love doing it in the fall when the mornings are cool. Boo on the cars falling through..the right Bea mobile is out that I just know it! Enjoy your week :)
ReplyDeleteBea mobile, that made me giggle. I'm still looking, something will work out.:)
DeleteSounds like a great week. Well, except the whole car thing. Seems like a lot of people are having car issues, including buying them. Hope you get one soon.
ReplyDeleteSo, there's bad car-ma going around, eh? :D
DeleteIt sounds like you had an enjoyable week off. Good luck with the car shopping, and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, you too!
DeleteOh I love the cover of Too Much Glue. What fun! Just what the teacher ordered!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute book, I enjoyed it.
DeleteKindle daily deals are great but they are also way too tempting! But then again they are cheaper than a cup of coffee so they are a great way to start the day :) Sleeping late and lots of reading sounds like such a great week, that's what I spent my week day dreaming of doing :)
ReplyDeleteThey are a temptation, for sure!
DeleteIt was nice to be able to sleep in and not have to be up and out the door.
It sounds like you had a really good week, Bea! I think we need to have a slow week every now and then, where we can just enjoy the peace and quiet, good friends and some books :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.

It was nice.:)
DeleteWhat a fun week you have had!! Car shopping is the worst, hope you find a good deal this week!! I have been very curious about Katie Reus. I love those lucky deals, especially when you least expect it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yea, I like those unexpected deals. :)
DeleteI saw Too Much Glue on the Kindle Daily Deals and thought it looked so cute. Yay for a week off. So fun to get a break. And good luck with the car hunting. That can be stressful. I hope you have a great week, Bea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan, you too!
DeleteToo Much Glue looks good. How I love funny kids books! And it looks like you've had a successful week on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI like funny kids books too! It was a good week on the blog. :)
DeleteI noticed the NeuroTribes book at the library last week. Not light reading!
ReplyDeleteNo, it's definitely not but absolutely worth it.
DeleteBlind Justice looks good.
ReplyDeleteSorrry to hear you're having trouble with the car hunt. I hope you find something you like and successfully get it soon!
Thanks!
DeleteSounds like you had a great week! Love those kindle deals too. :) I went a little hog wild with the book grabbing this week...ugh...lol.
ReplyDeleteHeh, I saw. :D I've had weeks like that before, it happens.
DeleteSounds like a great week for you! Enjoy the museum. We went to one yesterday and had a great time.
ReplyDeleteEthan Cross' book looks good. I've read his books before and enjoyed them.
Have a great week!
The museum was wonderful; we spent most of our time touring the outside.
DeleteThat's good to hear about Cross, he's a new to me author.
Have a great week!
I had a week off work too but only managed to sleep in an extra hour are so stupid body clock. Too much glue looks like a fun 'read. Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteMegan @ http://readingawaythedays.blogspot.co.uk
Aaa, darn body clocks! "Too Much Glue" was fun and cute. :)
DeleteOk, this car thing is going on way too long. I'm revving up my {{{posivibes}}} to get you some hot wheels. As opposed to Hot Wheels which won't help one bit but could look very cool on the shelf. And yay to a week off! Especially when the results are sleeping in and reading. :) Have a great week, Bea!
ReplyDeleteAt this point, I'd settle for Hot Wheels. :D
DeleteHave a great week!
I have been eyeing Friction....hope to get it soon! Enjoy your week, and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHere are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I hope you enjoy it, it was good.
DeleteDespite the car shopping it sounds like a great week! Especially the sleeping late part but that may just be because I'm really tired. That's too bad about the cars. I absolutely hate car shopping and I try to do it as little as possible! I absolutely love the cover of Too Much Glue. I've seen that happen a few times. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI hate car shopping also, another reason it's taking so long.
DeleteHeh, yep, that scene on the cover of "Too Much Glue" looks very familiar. :D
You got some excellent books this week, BEA. I hope you love all your new books.
