Winter came back - snow, ice, freezing rain. I have consumed a lot of cocoa and engaged in many snuggles with the cats. It's looking more and more as if Claude will go from Boarder Cat to Resident Cat but officially he's still boarding. He's become such a love and good snuggler. I've been doing more binge watching on NetFlix and I just finished Bomb Girls. I've gone through Bletchley Circle, 3 seasons of Murdoch Mysteries (that's all NetFlix has), and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I tried Inspector Morse but it didn't hold my interest. Any other suggestions for me?

Thanks
for visiting and happy reading! :)
I watched the first Miss Fisher mystery and enjoyed it, my hubby lost interest. I will check out the Murdoch ones. I really want to pick up Shatter Secrets, I enjoyed her first novel. I had a feeling your boarder would become a member of the household..I am sure you aren't really surprised either. Have a good week and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI think Morse is a slow build. I only watched them because my husband loves them but then I slowly good addicted too. Now I've seen everyone. Bomb Girls sounds interesting, I must check if it is on Netflix over here yet.
ReplyDeleteShattered Secrets and Trust No One both look great! Enjoy your cat snuggles and your books :)
Oh my you had a very busy week indeed. You got some great books in your haul. Plus the Miss Fisher mystery looks really good.

I hope you get to keep Claude; he looks like such a nice, snuggly cat!
ReplyDeleteMystery suggestions: I'm a big fan of British mystery. I highly recommend Foyle's War. I also really enjoyed the Campion mysteries and the Alleyn mysteries (although they made a fair few changes to the latter, they still kept much of the flavor intact.) My mother is also very fond of the Inspector Lynley mysteries, though I haven't seen them.
Have a wonderful week, Bea, and stay warm!
I love Bletchly Circle and I got my eye on Bomb Girls, I might watch that next. I've been watching a lot of Netflix myself! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteShattered Secrets sounds like it will be a great read. Hope that you enjoy and have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteClaude sounds like a sweetie! I hope you get to keep him.
ReplyDeleteThey are saying a blizzard for us starting tomorrow night. Yikes!
Hope you have a great week!
Aw, well if Claude becomes a resident, at least he's a good cuddler. lol. Have a great week and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we've had good weather here, I can't take too much cold. I'm glad Claude is fitting in so well and becoming an expert cuddler :) hope you get to keep him, though as long as he has a good home that's all that matters I guess. Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteI see you couldn't resist the Graham after all! Now I just have to read it. I'm not surprised that Claude is going to become a resident cat. Normally when you board a pet for that long it ends up sticking! I'm not a huge Morse fan either. Have you watched Luther or Waking the Dead? They're a bit darker but both are excellent. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHa! those search terms are great.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week Bea, happy reading.
Well, shit. I wanted Dead Key (I'm from NE OH) and it's no longer free. *folds arms and pouts* Ah, well. It's not like I have nothing to read. And I'm not too sure about that search for 'knit underwear book'...LOL
ReplyDeleteI've been having a lot of hot chocolates lately... and it is summer in Aus! Enjoy your new reads!
