I'm reading a cozy mystery, "Cat-Eye Witness" by Patricia Fry. The quote is from page 56  in the ebook.

"I have the breakfast and lunch shift today-came in at six." Iris did a quick scan of the cafe before sitting down across from Savannah. "Boy am I beat. I waited up for that son of mine to come home-wanted to have a little talk with him. It just wasn't right, him taking off like that yesterday and leaving the younger boys to do all the take-down work."

  5. Oh, this one sounds like a cozy I'd enjoy, and already I am wondering what will come next. Has something happened to her son? I would keep reading.
