Sunday Book Share #168

http://caffeinatedbookreviewer.com/category/sunday-post Sunday Book Share, The Sunday Post, Stacking the Shelves, Bought Borrowed & Tagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Book ReviewerStacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. It's a chance to share the print and digital books we've received and posts and events on the blog.

I had a busy week at school and reading books for the Ho Ho Ho Read-a thon. I got a little bit behind on reviews but I'll get caught up. This week is the American Thanksgiving and my school is closed Thursday and Friday so I'll have a 3 day work week. Not too shabby. :) I may start writing my Christmas cards; most years I run late with cards. If you're celebrating Thanksgiving, what are your plans?

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog: "happy birthday barbara gif" Sorry, no Barbaras here. :D  "jane yellowrock sex scenes", "cute thanksgiving animals", and "the vaxcbletyt upon a cool motorcycle dude"

  8. Extra days off -- that's one thing I miss about working for others. (I like the flexibility of self-employment, though.) Mr. Bookwyrm only gets Thursday, but we'll have a nice quiet Thanksgiving.

Nice books this week! I've been wanting to start that Sally Goldenbaum series. And I've been debating whether to request A Prisoner in Malta, but I think I'll stick to my resolution not to request books unless I will definitely read them anyway.

Have a lovely week and a wonderful Thanksgiving, and give your kitties an extra pat for me.

  11. I forget every single year about Christmas cards! I need to sit down and just do them. lol

My kids also have Weds off, so only a 2-day week for them. This is the first year in over 20 yrs that my husband has to work Thanksgiving Day. It's ridiculous! He works in a manufacturing facility and they are making 5 people come in as well as a manager (my husband). Because heaven knows, that ONE day is going to make all the difference in their bottom line espeically considering they won't be running with a full staff. Yeah, I'm pissed. *grumble grumble*

    Have a great week, Bea!
