Blurb from goodreads:

Meet Daredevil Duck
He is afraid of everything. But that doesn't stop him from DREAMING of being brave. Then one day he is given the biggest challenge of all . . . Can Daredevil Duck prove that he is the bravest duck in the whole wide world?

Bea's Thoughts:

This was a cute book. My class of 4 and 5 year olds enjoyed it and currently my class of 2 and 3 year olds are reading it. The children relate easily to Daredevil's fears and enjoy his antics and his super hero costume. We've had conversations about fears, friends laughing at us, maps and getting lost, and what is bravery. In addition, they've just plain enjoyed the book, smiling and laughing and reading it by themselves as well as asking myself or another teacher to read it. They really enjoy the illustrations and the page flaps, which are fun for guessing what will be underneath. The story is relevant to preschoolers and one that is fun to read, I recommend it.

Steph's Thoughts:

Liam and I sat down and read this book together. His little face was all smiles while we were reading together. We loved the big bright pictures and the hidden pictures under the flaps were neat. They really helped keep Liam's attention. I liked how the story was simple and with a mix of words. Some were very simple and some a little harder. Liam liked the simple words and read many of them. I had to help him with a few of the harder words but he did a good job.

This is a really cute book and has a nice message about being brave. It fit right into the world of a four year old. Liam related to it because he doesn't like the dark or getting too wet and he loves balloons.

Liam's thoughts "This was a good book, Mama. Read it again."
