Bea's Thoughts:
Short, sweet, hot, and not the best story for reading at naptime at work. Whew! I'm not sure how the kids slept through the heat.
Ash and Lexie have been friends for years and have also lusted after each other for years. Lexie gets tired of waiting for Ash to see her as a sexy, desirable woman, and with some heavy duty pushing from her friend Grace, sets about winning her man, whatever it takes. She pushes his buttons and sexy times ensue; not all the fireworks are from the 4th of July celebration. But she wants more and Ash is still reluctant. Will they get a happy ending that works for both of them? Are there puffer fish in the story? Sadly, no to that. But there's a sweet love story, sexy times, and fireworks. I wish the story had been a little longer and that the resolution was not quite so quick but this was a fun, hot story that was perfect for a quiet afternoon.

I don't think tatts or piercings affect the way I like/dislike a hero or heroine. As traditionally as I go, the inner cool is key.

ReplyDeleteI don't mind tats or piercings on either character as long as they aren't over done or the story becomes all about their body art.

ReplyDeleteDepending on the tat, I can appreciate them on men, but still not overly thrilled seeing them on a woman (although there are exceptions to every rule).
