Gone With the Wolf
When CEO and alpha werewolf Drake Wilder discovers that his one true love is a secretary in his company, his primal instincts kick into overdrive. Free-spirited bartender Emelia Hudson wants nothing more than to make her Seattle-based bar succeed. Upon learning that her bar has become property of Wilder Financial, Emelia is determined to get some answers. When Drake’s twin brother senses that Drake has found his match—and now inherits their father’s billion dollar estate—he plans to take Emelia out. Drake vows to protect her at all costs, but he might have to pay with his own life.

Four Weddings and a Werewolf
Logan Black, former Marine and bodyguard for the Seattle Wolf Pack, hates weddings and has no plans to enter into matrimonial misery. But when he’s hired to protect a hot-to-trot wedding planner with a werewolf stalker, he’s forced to put his feelings aside. Not such an easy task when the damsel can turn him on with a single smoldering glance. The chemistry between them seems fated, but with his playboy attitude, her hatred for werewolves, and a stalker lurking in the shadows, will passion be enough to keep them together?

So I Married a Werewolf
Carter Griffin, enforcing officer for the Seattle Wolf Pack, has been offered the promotion of his dreams…if he can find a wife to prove he’s over his playboy ways. But Carter’s already been there, done that. Faith Hamilton needs money to put her younger brother through college. Okay, and she totally wants Carter, her sexy next-door neighbor, to look at her as more than a friend. It’s too bad size 12 and plain isn’t his type. At all. When the two friends strike a deal to help one another out, will it spark a love neither anticipated?

Bea's Thoughts:

I love werewolves and I love romantic suspense, so this collection, pardon the expression, was catnip for me. :D Sadly, the catnip was dry and unappealing. The stories just didn't do it for me. They were okay, nothing wonderful, and I am not motivated to read more by this author.

Gone With the Wolf
If you like couples who keep secrets from each other and who run away rather than talk to each other, if you like The Big Misunderstanding where they don't talk to each other but flounce off full of hurt feelings and are too idiotic to sit down and talk like adults, then you will probably like this. There's also insta-love and fated mates, neither of which is my thing. This story just wasn't a good fit for me. :( The story itself was meh, and full of implausibilities.

Four Weddings and a Werewolf
This one, this one was better. It was cute with a sweet romance. The villain's identity was obvious and the heroine's hatred of werewolves was over the top, way over the top, and unreasonable. She was likable despite that; it helped that she eventually what an ass she was being. Logan was a sweetie. He got stuck in the middle of a situation and tried so hard to juggle it and make it work. This was probably my favorite of the three.

 So I Married a Werewolf

This was cute too, but has as one of its plot devices the big miscommunication, which I loathe. You might have noticed that in my review of the first story. :P Anyway, I'm always game for a friends to lovers story so this one had potential. Their romance was bumpy, they could both be idiots but I did like that it wasn't all smooth sailing making that transition from friends to lovers. Also, we again get a heroine who doesn't like werewolves. At all. This quote from the heroine shows her change of heart and made me giggle:

"I know, I know. I tried not to like him, but he was like a fungus that came out of nowhere, wouldn't go away, and the next thing I know, he grew on me."

Who knew a fungus could be romantic? :D :D

Each story can be read alone. There are references to events in earlier books but they're minor. Drake and Emelia from the first book show up in the third one but you could read them out of order if you wanted. Miller has constructed an interesting world, and put her own spin on werewolves, but I'd have to say that overall, her style just didn't work for me.
