Bea's Thoughts:

I saw this on the Blogging for Books site and knew I had to have it. It just looked cute and funny. When it arrived I sat down and began reading it and sharing lines from it on Facebook. The artwork is both cute and realistic with vibrant colors and sharp details. Seabrook's creatures are expressive and each one perfectly illustrates the quotes it accompanies. The quotes are a delightful blend of humor and wisdom, with the occasional touch of snark.

Some of the quotes were fun - "I hear the call to do nothing, and am doing my best to answer it." accompanied by a lazy kitty or an alligator baby crawling out of its egg to the quote, "I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat roughage!" While others were more serious - "Anyone can be passionate. But it takes real  lovers to be silly." and "When you're in it up to your ears...it pays to keep your mouth shut." with a picture of a hippo's head in water with just its eyes, nostrils, and ears showing.

,This is one of my faves: I've had days, weeks, even months like this. :D And the visible tension in the frog's body plus the expression on his face is exquisite.

Furry Logic is cute, humorous, and sure to make you smile. If you don't, you might be dead. :D Keep it on your coffee table, bedside table, kids room, heck keep a copy in the bathroom!
