Sunday Book Share #95

http://www.talksupeblog.com/search/label/Bought%20Borrowed%20and%20Bagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe; and Library Loot co-hosted by The Captive Reader and Silly Little Mischief. All of these memes are about sharing the print and digital books received and/or posts and events on the blog.

Last week was better I'm happy to say. Still no A/C or new job but a nice week nonetheless. Friday night, I went out for dinner with several friends for our annual joint birthday celebration. I'm in April and they're both in June so we usually celebrate in the summer. One friend gave me a plate I had admired at a store we were browsing in earlier in the day (she was quite sneaky and managed to buy it without my seeing). It's part of a set and I want the whole set. Yes, I'm a word nerd. :P

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog:  Some new ones! "are there going to be any more iron fey books", "images about she lit the match quotes", and "the devil in hell". Where else would the devil be? :D "threesome" made a reappearance after taking a break for a few weeks. :D

A smallish week last week, which is fine with me. I did fail with the review books though. I got an email from NetGalley saying I was pre-approved and I succumbed. :) I also got two in for blog tours.

  11. I enjoyed Thinking Woman's Guide. I loved the prose. I got a bunch of new books last week - from publishers. I wanted to know what happened in a series so I joined Audible and in the free trial got Rude Awakenings and Written in my Own Heart's Blood. I needed some new audios to work with but WIMOHB is 45 hours long. And delicious!

  14. Those plates are awesome. No A/C. I would die if that was the case. I see that you got the Shannon Stacey book. Love her books. Net Galley is bad for me and I'm trying next month to avoid it.
