Last week was a mix of stressful and good. The good - my wrist and asthma flare are much improved, no significant snow, my family is doing well, and I received a surprise package from a PR firm I work with; the bad - I was in a minor car accident, an acquaintance died of a heart attack and she was only 30!, and health insurance problems. Also, another snow storm coming tomorrow. :(
It was a busy week on the blog last week, take a look!

A friend sent me this after I told her how much I enjoyed book two; this is book one in the series. I'm continuing my habit of not starting at the beginning. :D

Organized for Murder is for a blog tour in April and It's Always Been You is for a tour next week.
Did you add any books to your shelves or e-readers last week? Leave a link to your Sunday Post so I can visit you during the week.
I got the Jessica Scott book as well. Awesome haul. Enjoy your new books.
ReplyDeleteGrace
Well, hell ... that's quite a week. I'm glad the accident was only minor, though. Enjoy you books, Bea. I hope next week is ALL good for you.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the car accident, hope everything is OK now. Enjoy your new reads!
ReplyDeleteI also have Turned by Virna dePaul on my for-review list :) I already started reading it and it's mysterious and compelling enough that I will definitely be reading and reviewing it. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your acquaintance - these things are usually inherited problems. Hope you are ok! Book wise, I've seen The Housewife Assassin's Handbook somewhere else and thought it sounds like a fun read. Breeding Ground could interest me as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and Happy Reading!
My Sunday post is here
Brenda Novak is a freebie? Wow! That must not happen often! I didn't have a busy week myself b/c I've got to knock down my TBR, too, with the challenge :D
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about all the craziness of your life last week - at least there was good to balance the bad!
Hope this week is quieter for you!!! My Sunday Post
I do hope you are better after the accident and I am so sorry about your acquaintance, so young :(
ReplyDeleteYou must be close to me since we are also getting a snow storm today not to bad but it's enough to be a pain in the neck for the morning drive to work!
Great Haul!
Have a great week and happy reading
Michelle

ReplyDeleteSorry about the bad in your week! {{{hugs}}} I hope next week has nothing but good in it.
ReplyDeleteGreat haul and oh! Virna DePaul! I ran to see if it was on NetGalley and it is! Woot! :)
What an awesome haul you got this week, Bea! I love the Whiskey Creek series, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
ReplyDeleteThe Here and Now looks awesome :) I need to check that one out ;) I have enjoyed a thriller/suspense series by Maggie Shayne, but the one you have is new to me.
I hope you'll get your health insurance trouble sorted out. And how shocking about your acquaintance! *hugs*
Thanks for stopping by earlier. Happy reading.

I got there at last! :))) What a shame about the bad stuff happening this week, sweetheart - we need only good stuff from now on *huggles* Lovely book haul nevertheless, hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul! I've read the first Whiskey Creek novella from Brenda Novak and liked it so hopefully the full length book will be good!
ReplyDeleteGreat group of books, hope you enjoy and have a good week
ReplyDeleteHey, Bea. Looks like you've had wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your acquaintance.
ReplyDeleteWe're expecting snow tonight or tomorrow, too, but I'm hoping it passes us by. They've already lowered the snow accumulation predictions for here. We went from a foot and a half to three inches, so I'm really not sure what's coming our way. LOL
I have Organized for Murder for review, too, and that looks really good. All the books on your list look good. Enjoy!
I'm sorry about all the bad news. But the good news is that you've got a great book haul to take your mind off your troubles. :) I'm also participating in the TBR Pile Challenge. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from The Sunday Post. New Bloglovin' and Twitter follower.

ReplyDeleteI hope you are ok Bea.... my clumsy ass is nothing compared to what you have been through this week. It is sad to know someone who died at such a young age.
