More snow, with sleet and ice this time; oh joy. I did get a day off of school out of it. Even so, it was a busy week at school, I had a lot of commitments. I also started physical therapy for my wrist and it's doing better, despite needing to shovel out my car. Monday is a holiday here in the US and I have the day off from school, which I'm looking forward to very much.
I found this photo at The Bookwyrm's Hoard and had to use it. :D

I had another excellent book week. Sometimes, I am a very fortunate blogger and reader. :)
Library
Purchased
I purchased the e-book, which I downloaded in December, but the signed, limited edition hard cover which I also ordered didn't arrive until now.
I bought the books below using gift cards and a coupon. I still have a dollar and change left on my gift cards and I still have a few titles in the series left to acquire. The author is a friend of mine; I knew Cara back before she was published or had a contract. She's a really nice lady.

I have an interview with the author next month.
Feeling a little deja vu? Last Sunday's post had the digital ARC of this book and then on Monday I received the print ARC from the publisher. :D
I reviewed Written In Red on Thursday and Friday this showed up, the next one in the series! The book arrived Friday evening and by Saturday morning I had finished it. :D *tired happy dancing*

Mad Hatter was fun and I am loving the Armstrong book. Enjoy your extended weekend Bea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim :)
DeleteYay for a healing wrist and for Courtney Milan's freebie, Bea! Hope it stops snowing soon. I'll have to check's Cara's books. I have a terrible weakness for MFM couples in erotica :) Enjoy all, sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely check out Cara's books. :) They're all MFM, at least. :D
DeleteRight now, I'd take your rain over my snow. Blargh
Love that graphic. Great set of books this week. I keep telling myself that I need to catch up and read Ashfall, I am reminded every time I see the new book.
ReplyDeleteOh, you really should read Ashfall, so good! The books are long but so worth it.
DeleteMarie Halls novella series is good but has insta love and that Molly Harper book is frickin funny!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of insta-love but sometimes it works. I hope this one does,
DeleteGreat new books, Bea. From the look of the covers, some of them might melt all that snow we've been getting...LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday post: http://www.bookclublibrarian.com/2014/02/sundays-weekly-book-recap-54.html
Melting the snow is one reason I bought them, lol.
DeleteNight Owls looks good, hope you enjoy
ReplyDeleteThanks, I hope so too.
DeleteI've not read any of Cara's books. I have seen night owls about. Enjoy your haul :D
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
