Sunday Book Share #69

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, and Library Loot co-hosted by The Captive Reader and The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. All of these memes give book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and posts and events at their blogs.

Only two days left in the year and three days left of my break. I am ready for a new year, hopeful it will be a wonderful one. I'll spend New Year's Eve at a friend's house, watching movies and eating way too much food. Though, I've been doing that last one for about a week now, lol. My Christmas was good; I hope yours was too. Kwanza is almost done; so many holidays. I hope you've enjoyed yours.

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog: Some more new ones! "book princess motorcycle", "jodi redford naughty list online free", "naughty christmas quotes", and "advance happy christmas". Still popular are "threesome" and "how to catch a cat" :)

BOOKS, WONDERFUL BOOKS, GLORIOUS BOOKS! (What, I like that song. :D)

Purchased - Kindle

The first eight books of the In Death series were Kindle daily deals at Amazon and I snapped up all of them. I have them in print but couldn't pass up this deal. I'm only posting the cover for the first book so as to save space. Actually, all of the books I purchased were Kindle daily deals in the past week. I succumbed to their lure, lol.

Gifts

As you can see, I did well with Amazon Gift Cards. That was especially good since I received nothing from my Amazon wish list. Some of these were from families in my classes, one from one of my sisters and one from a friend. I have already made purchases, see above. :D

How were your holidays? Did you add any books to your shelves or e-readers last week? Have a safe and fun New Year's Eve.

  4. You got a lot of amazing books. I missed the Jennifer Estep deal but saw the J. D. Robb one. Unfortunately, I already have the first 20 of the series on my Kindle and I paid full price. :-( I just love Eve and Roarke's relationship.

Come see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading and happy new year!
