Sunday Book Share #64

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, and Library Loot co-hosted by The Captive Reader and The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. All of these memes give book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and posts and events at their blogs.

Oy, last week was miserable with the intestinal bug, more car troubles, an injured wrist, and today is my aunt's memorial service but I can't be there. You can see how off my game I was last week by the lack of reviews posted. I have a bunch that need writing and posting so, more reviews coming, I promise. This week HAS to be better, right? Well, I did pick up a new editing client last week, and this week I am only working Tuesday and Wednesday thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday, so there is that. :)

And to everyone who celebrates,

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Have a safe, joyous day with family or friends.

  10. Oh, Bea, I'm so sorry you had such a rough week. And I'm sorry you had to miss your aunt's memorial service. I hope and pray you feel better soon, your wrist heals, and you find peace and comfort for your grief. Treat yourself with loving kindness this week... wrap yourself in a cozy blanket, curl up with a cup of tea and a good book, and shut the world out for a little while. {{virtual hugs}}}

  11. Yikes, sounds like a rough one all the way around. Hope you feel better and this week is a good one! The Scientist in the Crib looks interesting, I'm always curious to read about early childhood learning.

    When It Snows looks like acute kids book too.
