Cat Thursday - Cats as Coffee Tables

Welcome to the weekly meme hosted by The True Book Addict that celebrates cats; their foibles and humorousness and the joy they bring. You can join in by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you made or came across, cat art or share with us pics of your own felines, then post your link up at The True Book Addict

So last week I talked about how my cat Goof wants to lie, or sit, where he wants and doesn't care what's in his way. If my cell phone, kindle or remote are where he wants to be, he just plops on top. I can't count the number of times I've put my hand underneath him to root around, looking for my missing object. Somehow, my four person couch is never big enough for myself and one cat so I often, umm, put Goof to work as a coffee table and put my phone, book, etc. on top of him. :D He's generally pretty tolerant but this cat in the pic below? Yeah, that one is plotting revenge. :P

  3. Wow! That is awesome. My cats would not win. They'd run and run fast! ha ha :)

  4. Maxie would run too. My daughter's cat Humphrey, a Russian Blue, is very placid, though. He just might be willing to serve as a Coffee Table. (As long as there's not a paper bag around to play in.)

  5. Goof, who is not the cat in the picture (I found the pic on facebook), is surprisingly tolerant about objects on his body. When he's had enough, he jumps down. :)

  7. Um, I do that to Alice all the time. LOL! She's pretty tolerant (seemingly), but you're right, she's probably plotting revenge too.

I used to have this cat named Misha. She used to let me stack Sweetarts on her head. I think I have pictures somewhere. If I ever get a scanner, I'll post one. =O)
