Sunday Book Share #26

I'm participating in Feed My Reader Friday hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A WriterThe Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. These  memes allow book bloggers the chance to share print and digital books they've received, and different posts and events at their blogs.

Another busy week last week, both here and offline. The next few weeks are crazy busy for me at work so other than blog tours, posting may be erratic. This month I have a couple promised reviews but otherwise my reviews will be of books that I read for the Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge March 2013, hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated.

Last week I had a huge picture of my cat in my header and mentioned my frustration at not being able to size it properly. Kimba offered to play around with it and while she was at it, she cleaned up my text and fancied up the font. I like it, and smile every time I look at it.

ETA: After I wrote this up and logged into Twitter, I discovered that Kara at Nocturnal Reviews had gifted me with a header that she made. It's gorgeous and now I'm torn. I want them both. Kimba's has Goof, Kara's has another cat, but they both look good. :D I may have to alternate and swap them around periodically. I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of both ladies. <3 Right now, Kara's is up. So, here is Kimba's:

  2. What wonderful ladies! I like both headers. I would probably rotate them too. Too bad you couldn't have them automatically randomize. My goodness, woman! You always have so many books. Hope you enjoy them and have a great week!

  8. I agree, keep swapping them, Bea! I didn't know Kimba was helping you, I only remembered you mentioned your frustration with your header, that's why I sent you this one. Kimba is a wizz with html, but I have a lazy graphic program that does it all for you, so it was no hardship :)
Great haul, I can imagine you starting a group EFA (Ebook Freebies Anonymous) and giving each other hugs and telling how you've done each week! :)))
The Taken is pretty good, I loved it, so I hope you enjoy all your wonderful books!

  11. Hi, Bea!

It was so nice of Kimba and Kara to help you with your header! I wouldn't be able to choose between them, either!

Thank you so much for dropping by and commenting on my "Stacking The Shelves" post. I greatly appreciate it!

You have an AWESOME haul here!! WOW. All of these books are new to me, so I'll have to check them out, but they all look GREAT! There's only little thing, though. I don't like e-books at all, so I would only be interested in the printed editions.

Thanks for sharing, and have a FAB week!! :)

    1. It was, wasn't it? They are both such nice people.

I used to be print books only but now I love ebooks. I still read a lot of print though. I sometimes get deals on print at the used book store and my library's used book sale.
