It's The Blog's Birthday! And There's A Giveaway!

Found on Pinterest; click photo to go to site.

11 years old! We're almost a teenager, eeeep. When I started the blog, I never thought the blog would last this long. I'm an erratic poster the last few years but I'm still around. Co-bloggers have come and gone, one cat has died and two more have moved in, fish have come and gone, but the blog and I are still here.

Authors, publishers, publicists, libraries and bookstores, all keep me supplied with books and material to review. My bookshelves, both virtual and physical, have enough books for several lifetimes. I've gotten better at pruning and removing books but it's still hard to let go of them. I have hoarding tendencies and not just with books. :D

I actually forgot about the blog's anniversary until I saw a tweet about another blog's anniversary on Sunday afternoon. Ooops! So the party is small. But there's cake, soda, juice, and wine. Enjoy!

Oh, and there's a present!

I'm giving away a Kindle book from Amazon or a print book from Book Depository. Any book you want, The catch is that it cost $11US or less. That's in honor of this being the blog's 11th birthday. To enter, recommend a book to me! Yes, I have too may books but there's always room for one more.

I like mysteries of all varieties, romantic suspense and small town contemporary romance, and urban fantasy. To help you out, some fave authors are Kerry Greenwood, Kelley Armstrong, Seanan McGuire, Patricia Briggs, Linda Poitevin, Lydia M. Hawke, Jessica Scott, Lynn Kurland, Farrah Rochon, Toni Anderson, Rachel Grant, and Robert Dugoni.

Make sure you read my giveaway and privacy policies. Must be 18 or older to enter. Must be able to be gifted a Kindle book via Amazon US or have Book Depository deliver a print book to you.

  5. Happy blogiversary! My FAVORITE romantic suspense series of all times is Melissa Cutler's ICE: Black Ops Defenders. Also, another oldie, but so so good is Accidental Affair by Leslie McKelvey. Yes, the story is like nine years old, but scenes from that story pop up in my head consistently.

  6. Happy anniversary!!! I'm also at 11 years (I think?!) Congrats. A lot has changed, but our love of books is still strong! If you like cozy mysteries, let me recommend the Cleo Mack Mysteries by G.P. Gardner. I believe there are three stories. I listened to the audiobooks, narrated by Karen White. I love the little details of Cleo’s life we get outside of solving a mystery.

    1. Can you believe we're still here? Hard to believe. I don't think I've read Gardner; I'll take a look.
