Blurb from goodreads:

Ten-year-old George Calder can't believe his luck - he and his little sister, Phoebe, are on the famous Titanic, crossing the ocean with their aunt Daisy. The ship is full of exciting places to explore, but when George ventures into the first-class storage cabin, a terrible boom shakes the entire boat. Suddenly water is everywhere, and George's life changes forever.

Lauren Tarshis brings history's most exciting and terrifying events to life in this new fictional series.

Liam's Thoughts:

I chose this book because it is about the Titanic. I loved the book. It was fun and scary.

I liked George because he is my age and he explored the ship. He slid down the banister on the big staircase and that sounds like fun. He gave me a good description of the ship. When the Titanic hit the iceberg, it was a bit scary. George was brave and he helped his friends.

I think other kids should listen to this book. They would like it too. The person who reads it did a good job.

About Liam:

For those of you who don't know Liam, he is Steph's son. He is 9 years old and in 4th grade. This is his first independent book review. He dictated, Steph typed.
