Cat Thursday: In or Out? Out or In?

Welcome to the weekly meme hosted by The True Book Addict that celebrates cats; their foibles and humorousness and the joy they bring. You can join in by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you made or came across, cat art or share with us pics of your own felines, then post your link up at The True Book Addict.

This, this would be Goof. I love the furball but he's not the brightest feline ever.

  1. Lol ! What they like is not as much coming in or going out, it's having the choice ;) I can't remember how many times a cat asked me for the door and once it's open, well, he sits there and looks !

  2. LOL! A few times we had to show our kitties how to use the door. I think they knew how, they just wanted to see us show them.

  3. LOL!

One of the cats I grew up with was an all-time outdoor cat until he got old and lost most of his teeth --- we started bringing him in for the winters, and eventually he became a full-time indoor cat. But he would always ask to be let outside, where he would go to the bathroom, burry his business, and then come right back in. He was the most dog-like cat I've ever had. :D

  4. [snork!] That photo had me laughing out loud!

We don't have a cat flap; our kitties stay indoors. But I had an indoor/outdoor cat as a child. Since we didn't have a cat door then, he figured out how to let us know when he wanted to come in: he leaped onto the screen of the screen door and rocked back and forth, banging the door until someone opened it. Usually at 4:00 in the morning.

    1. We had a cat that figured out how to open out sliding screen door. Between him and a neighborhood dog that could also get it open we had animals coming and going from our kitchen all the time! :D
