I'm reading a romance, "Live", by Mary Ann Rivers. The quote is from 56%  in the ebook.

Destiny looked past Hefin's shoulder for a moment, closed her eyes for a moment too long, then abruptly stood up and went to the kitchen.

  4. Sounds like something intense is happening between Destiny and Hefin. Normally when you close your eyes for a moment and then leave the room without speaking good things aren't happening! Hope you enjoy this one!

  6. I wonder why she closed her eyes and would keep reading to find out. Did something painful just happen?

  9. What did she see behind her eyelids. The temperature seemed to drop in the room. Lovely cover art too.
