Dropping Linky Followers Option

As of June 1st, I'll be discontinuing the Linky Followers option. It doesn't update automatically, I have to do it manually, and there are relatively few people using it. If you use Linky and aren't following me via any other method, you have options. You can follow using:

  • Bloglovin
  • RSS
  • Email
  • Kindle
  • GFC (if it's still working for you; it's not for some people and I'll discontinue it at some point)
  • or you can take this opportunity to drop me from your follow list. Whatever works best for you.
If you have any questions, send me an email: beasbooknook@gmail.com

  1. I keep hearing about people having issues with GFC. I may end up ditching it at some point too, and going to only bloglovin/email subscription.

  2. I'll take this opportunity to drop you :P lol RSS is by far my fav option though hard to track followers that way!

    1. Sniff sniff. You don't love me anymore. :P

RSS does make it hard to track followers but so many like it.

  3. I dropped Linky a while back. Same with GFC and NB. Just seemed easier to whittle it down and go with only a couple ways to follow. I'm a bloglovin follower :) It's my fave so far.

    1. I'm a fan of bloglovin too. :) But I wanted my readers to have options and give them a method that worked for them. Now though, it's time to get rid of the ones that just aren't functional.

    2. LOL see you're nicer than me. I totally pulled the herd mama card and was like nope here are the ways! lol

I think the guy below is from Mr Linky (they do the blog hop widgets) not Linky Tools that does the follow option.

  4. You must be talking about something other than Mister Linky's Magical Widgets, right? Because all of our widgets work just great!

  5. I don't blame you for dropping Linky. It's such a pain, which is also why I stopped using it. There are just so many better options out there that achieve what bloggers are looking for.
