I cannot say it enough - I love books where the romance is secondary to the story. It's why I enjoyed this book, and series so much. Reynolds makes you care about what's going on above and beyond bedroom.
I also love that the title character of the book is the villain! It was an unexpected twist. Evil bastard helps Cyn come to terms with Raphael, though. Probably they only good thing he does. It's a good pairing. She's tough and independent, he's overprotective and territorial. And yet they learn to bend after all. It may seem odd that the HEA couple barely spends any time together during the book, but I like it. I like that they are their own people, and can carry on apart even when they are happier together.

I adore this series just for that reason. The couple stays strong as two separate people who treat each other as equals. I really need to re-read all the books. :) Great review!
