I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe. It's a chance to share the print
and digital books we've received and posts and events on the blog.
The first half of the week was good, the second half was a mess with various car problems, which are still not sorted out. Sigh. It's times like this I wish I lived in a city with public transportation instead of a small town out in the boonies.

Car problems, oh joy. Always fun. :( Hope nothing too serious. I got a laugh out of your search terms this week, yours are always so good!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! :)
I swear cars will be the death of me. I do get some funny search terms, lol.
DeleteCar problems just make everything else kind of hard, too. I hope you'll get it sorted out quickly, Bea!
ReplyDeleteYour new books look great, and I hope you'll enjoy them all.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
Thanks Lexxie! Have a great week. :)
DeleteYou have some great books here, because they not just look good but they also sound amazing. Now imagine my TBR growing even more :)) I need a second life just for reading all the books I want. Can't wait to see what you think of them!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
My STS: http://readingadd.blogspot.com/2015/11/stacking-shelves-41.html
I'm always happy to add to someone's TBR pile. :)
DeleteVery cute stuffed animal, Bea. Sorry about the car problems--never fun. Hope you get it sorted out soon.Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan. The plush pup is very cute. :)
DeletePublic transportation can be difficult too, believe me ! I have the joy of using often late public transportation and driving an old car that could break down any minute, lol ! I read a different book by C. McPherson and really liked it, and Shameless looks very sexy ^^ Enjoy !
ReplyDeleteYeah, public transpo isn't a perfect solution but right now, it would really help. Ah well, it is what it is.
DeleteLOL Some of those search terms were too out there! I'm empathize with your car troubles. I've had some big ones this year. Also living in a small town and working in another, I was lucky to have help from my employers. Came in handy working for me at a job that has a mechanics shop and a loaner car!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/11/15/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-136-and-the-sunday-post/
Oh, you were lucky! Right now, I am so jealous! Let's hope we don't have any more car troubles.
DeleteNow that we got rid of our second car, I am dreading if anything happens to my car. I hope you get it sorted out soon.
ReplyDeleteQuiet Neighbors I have been staring at but just not sure. Might have to wait to see reviews for getting it :)
Have a great week Bea! Happy Reading! ox
Only one car for all of you? Eeep. Good luck, and thanks for the good wishes. Happy reading!
DeleteOut of the Shadows sounds intriguing! Hope that you enjoy your books and have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brandi, you too!
DeleteOh, I'm sorry about your car problems! That's always such a pain. I hope things work out with it soon. And what an adorable stuffed puppy! Have a wonderful week and enjoy those new books - they look amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pain. Cuddling with the cats and the plush puppy helped somewhat. Have a good week!
DeleteLooks like you had a great week aside from car troubles. Since I live in the city I can say I wish i lived in the boonies. Hopefully this week will be better for your in the car trouble department. I hope you enjoy your new books.
ReplyDeleteThe grass is always greener, lol. Have a good week and thanks!
DeleteQuiet Neighbors? I bet that's a ruse for a lot of evil or creepy shenanigans!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, bea!
LOL I expect this to be a creepy book/
DeleteOmg, car problems suck so bad. I love living out away from the city, so what we really need are matter transporters. Amirite? Quiet Neighbors looks like something that should be read on a dark and stormy night. I must add that to the TBR.
ReplyDeleteI second the need for matter transporter. I need one now! :D Quiet Neighbors is up at NG.
DeleteHave a great week Carol!
Car problems are the worst. Quiet Neighbors would be a blessing for me. I hope you love all your new books.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
Sorry about your neighbors. Have a good week Grace!
DeleteI enjoy Melinda Leigh's books, and the "She Can" series was my first from her. Since, there have been several, and it's hard to keep up. Tracks of Her Tears, a novella, looks fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...and enjoy. And thanks for visiting my blog.
I've been eyeing her "She Can" series since it started. I'm looking forward to reading this one.
Deletewoo you had a busy week in reading. I love your new additions, they look good, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lily!
Deleteyay for Shameless!!! I love Joan Johnston, she is just fabulous. And I have so much fun with her rival family series she has here. Hope you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first by her.
DeleteQuiet Neighbors looks good. Sorry about the car troubles. I am curious about Haog's book.
ReplyDeleteI think you'd like Hoag.
DeleteUrrggh, car problems. They scare me as the bills mount up very quickly. Hope it's not too expensive. I live in a rural area too and a car is a MUST.
ReplyDeleteThe bills are mounting up. :( I hate cars.
DeleteUgh car problems are so annoying. We don't have public transportation either and I live in a decent size city but there are definitely times it would be nice. I'm glad I talked you into Quiet Neighbors! Now I just hope it's a good read! Your search terms are especially random this week. Have a fantastic week!
ReplyDeleteEvil bookpusher :P Reliable reasonably public transpo would be wonderful. The search terms last week were pretty random. :D
DeleteHi, I see many authors I like here, Tami Hoag, Joan Johnston,David Baldacci. I am a new blogger to the booking world, and just did my first Pre-Order Blitz and giveaway, would love for you to visit!!

Hi Joann, welcome to blogging! I hope you enjoy it..
DeleteOh I hate car problems, I hope you get it figured out. We both seen Quiet Neighbors on Katherine's blog...lol. That is why I got it and your other books look great but I am not going to go search them out...no no no....lol. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL oh go for it! Your search terms can be interesting and sometimes eye-opening.
DeleteSorry to hear about your car problems Bea. How frustrating... particularly when you don't have reliable public transport!
ReplyDeleteI've just requested the latest / upcoming Tami Hoag so guess it's probably the same one!
Most likely the same one.:)
DeleteI really wish I lived in the boonies....but the idea of being stranded with no car isn't good. I hope your car has an easy fix. It is so frustrating to have to deal with those kinds of things.
ReplyDeleteI also picked up Quiet Neighbors and The Bitter Season. I haven't read either author so I am crossing my fingers that I like them both.
Hoag is hit or miss for me but I have high hopes. McPherson is new to me.
DeleteMost of the time I like living in the boonies but when car problems occur, it's a different story.
I hate car problems.
ReplyDeleteYour books look good. Enjoy and have a great week!
Thanks Yvonne, have a great week!
DeleteThat sucks about the car. Didn't you get it not too long ago? Hope you get it worked out. You get some weird search terms. lol
ReplyDeleteNo, it's my old car; I still need a new car. I do get some weird search terms, lol.
DeleteI grew up in a small town and if you didn't have a car, you couldn't go anywhere, so I feel your pain. Hope you get your car issues sorted soon. Have a better week, Bea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi. :)
DeleteI hope you get your car issues sorted soon! Love the Puppy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Bea!
That puppy is cute. :)
DeleteThanks Naomi!
