Sunday Book Share #99

http://www.talksupeblog.com/search/label/Bought%20Borrowed%20and%20Bagged

I'm participating in The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer; Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; Bought Borrowed and Bagged, hosted by TalkSupe; and Library Loot co-hosted by The Captive Reader and Silly Little Mischief. All of these memes are about sharing the print and digital books received and/or posts and events on the blog.

I had a quiet week; still job hunting, weather was good, the new a/c is working well, and work went well. The next two weeks I'm back to working with the difficult co-workers so I'll need to stock up on chocolate this weekend. Goof had me worried for a few days but he seems to be back to normal now. Last weekend I read an awful, awful book but the next couple since then have been better, thank goodness.

The Week In Review

Odd, interesting, or funny search phrases leading to the blog: Lots of new ones this week: "site:blogspot.com bookie", "cat love you", "bea coyote teenager", and "blogger hot sex". ":D

BOOKS! - click on the cover to go the book's goodreads page

I read 5 books last week and acquired 5 books, 1 of which I'd already read, so my TBR pile is no bigger than it was at the beginning of the week. :)

  9. I used to love JA Jance but I haven't read her in awhile. I look forward to seeing your review to see if it's a series worth going back to. Those are some interesting search words! Am I missing the sex and the gambling? I thought I was just reading book reviews! Hope the difficult coworker is more cooperative this week.

    1. I'm quite a few books behind in the series, I'm hoping that won't be a problem reading this one. The sex comes from some of the erotica I post, I assume, but the gambling? No clue. smh

  10. I'm glad things are going better for you, and I hope the job search turns up the perfect job soon (or at least a really good one!) Glad Goof is feeling better, too.

You've got me curious about the awful, awful book. I've been lucky not to come across one of those in a while, but I, too, had a pretty bad one last week. (First time I've had to give a 2-star review to an author I normally like.)

I hope you have a great week, and enjoy reading those new books!

Enjoy...and I HATE when I have to slog through an awful, awful book. Usually I toss it in the DNF pile.

  21. Okay...I'm very interested in this awful, awful book you read. You know we all are wondering "is that the same one I thought was so awful". :) I missed the Omens daily deal...darn it. That is one that's on my wish list. I hope your co-workers are nice and behave themselves this week.

  22. I hope Goof is okay now. I am still struggling daily with the loss of my dog and I don't want any one of my friends to have to go through it anytime soon. Hope you have a decent week, eat lots of chocolate and find a great read. I am currently reading Sarah Fine's Of Metal and WIshes and loving it.

  23. Job hunting is no fun. I have been thinking about going back to work, and trying to find a job where we live in a pain. Too far into the city. :( Enjoy all the new books.

    Thanks for stopping by. :)
